For students considering Greenwood House Melbourne, the surrounding Burwood area is equally relevant, with supermarkets, shopping centres, cafes, restaurants, parks, gyms, medical services, and public transport listed nearby.

The Couple Room (Dual Occupancy) is listed at AUD 225 per person. This category differs from the other room types because the supplied rate is specifically stated on a per-person basis.
The prices are described as starting rates, so students should confirm the current price and availability for their preferred room before booking.
Wi-Fi is included in the rent at Greenwood House. This covers a basic requirement for students who need internet access for coursework, online university services, communication, and everyday use.
The property also has central air and heat together with an evaporative cooling system. These systems give residents different forms of climate control across Melbourne's changing seasons.
The facilities at Greenwood House are centered on practical residential needs, shared space, and building access. Residents have access to a common room, on-site events, car parking, and secure door entry.
A common room provides a shared area within the property where residents can spend time outside their individual rooms. It can be used for relaxing, meeting other residents or simply taking a break from studying in a private room.
Greenwood House also organizes on-site events. These activities give residents opportunities to meet other students and socialize within the accommodation.
The supplied information does not specify the current schedule or types of events, so students interested in the program should check what is being offered at the time of booking.
Car parking is available at the property. This is relevant for students who have a vehicle and want to keep it near their accommodation.
The supplied information does not specify the number of spaces, whether parking is allocated, or whether an additional charge applies. Those details should be confirmed before arrival.
Secure door entry is another listed facility at Greenwood House. It provides controlled access to the property and forms part of the accommodation's security arrangements.
Greenwood House is located in Burwood, where students can access a mixture of residential services, retail areas, food outlets, and outdoor spaces. The property's position on Greenwood Street also places it close to the Burwood Highway area.
For students, the neighborhood covers many of the routine requirements that come with living away from home. The supplied local listings include grocery shopping, eating out, fitness, public transport, and access to study resources.
The property is listed as being close to several Melbourne education providers. Exact travel times have not been supplied, so students should check the route to their particular campus before assessing the daily commute.
The University of Melbourne is listed among the universities accessible from Greenwood House. Students should check the route to their specific faculty or campus building, as the overall journey can vary depending on the destination.
Victoria University is another listed institution. Since the university operates across multiple campuses, students should confirm which campus their course uses before planning the commute from Burwood.
William Angliss Institute Australia is also included in the university and education-provider listings for Greenwood House. Students considering the property should compare their actual campus location with the available public transport routes.
The Burwood area has bus and tram connections, while rail services are also available through Burwood Station.
The Greenwood St/Burwood Hwy bus stop is listed close to the property. Burwood Hwy/Station St is another nearby stop.
These services connect the local Burwood area with surrounding suburbs and can form part of a longer journey when combined with other public transport services.
Students can use these services for journeys around Melbourne, depending on their destination and the current timetable. The most suitable route will vary according to where the student studies and whether the journey requires a transfer.
Burwood Station (Train) is listed as a further rail connection. The station provides access to Melbourne's broader train network and can be useful for longer journeys.
Students should compare the complete door-to-door route rather than looking at an individual station or stop in isolation.
Students living at Greenwood House have several supermarket options for regular groceries, as well as shopping centers for broader retail needs.
The listed grocery options include:
Coles Burwood East
Woolworths Burwood East
ALDI Burwood East
IGA Burwood (Camberwell)
The presence of several supermarket brands gives students options when comparing prices, product selection, and distance for their regular grocery shop.
For wider shopping needs, students can visit Burwood Heights Shopping Centre, Burwood One Shopping Centre, and Burwood Brickworks Shopping Centre.
These centers extend beyond basic grocery shopping and give students access to a broader selection of retail and everyday services.
Food and social options around Burwood include independent cafes, restaurants, and pubs.
For coffee and casual food, the supplied listings include Banksia Burwood and Norwood Cafe, located inside Burwood Brickworks.
These provide alternatives for students who want to grab a coffee or eat outside the accommodation.
The local restaurant selection includes Geppetto's, Minamoto Japanese Restaurant, Spice Nation Burwood, and Sofia Restaurant.
The selection covers Italian, Japanese, and Indian food, alongside pizza and other casual dining choices.
For a pub setting, the supplied listings include Aladdin's Lounge and Burvale Hotel.
These add another type of social venue to the cafes and restaurants around Burwood.
The area around Greenwood House also includes outdoor spaces, gyms, and medical facilities.
Greenwood Park is listed as a nearby green space, while the Gardiners Creek Reserve Dog Off-Leash Area offers another outdoor location in the wider area.
These spaces give students options for walking, spending time outside or taking a break from their usual study routine.
Students looking for fitness facilities can consider Snap Fitness Burwood VIC and Anytime Fitness Burwood.
MyoActive Performance Gym Burwood East is also listed for students looking for a more specialized fitness facility.
These are external gyms rather than on-site facilities at Greenwood House, so students should check membership arrangements and opening hours separately.
Burwood Heights Medical Centre is listed as a nearby healthcare facility. It provides a local option for students who need general medical services.
Students should confirm the clinic's current services, appointment arrangements, and opening hours when required.
The Mount Waverley Branch Library is listed as a study resource for students living in the area.
A public library can be useful when students want a quieter place to read or work away from their accommodation. It also gives residents another study setting alongside university facilities and the common room at Greenwood House.
Students searching for Greenwood House accommodation can identify the property by its address at 2/15 Greenwood Street, Burwood, VIC 3125.
The accommodation has four listed room categories: Large Double Room (Single Occupancy), Twin Room with Bunk Bed, Single Room with Shared Bathroom, and Couple Room (Dual Occupancy). Starting prices range from AUD 220 for the Twin Room with Bunk Bed to AUD 385 for the Large Double Room, while the Couple Room is listed at AUD 225 per person.
Wi-Fi is included in the rent, and the property also has central air and heat, an evaporative cooling system, a common room, on-site events, car parking, and secure door entry.
The room arrangement should be one of the first factors students compare. The property has both private and shared options, with the Twin Room with Bunk Bed offering the lowest listed starting price and the Large Double Room providing a single-occupancy arrangement at a higher listed rate.
Students considering the Couple Room should also note that its AUD 225 rate is stated per person, rather than as the total room price.
The second consideration is the location. Greenwood House sits in Burwood, with supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, parks and gyms listed in the surrounding area. Public transport options include bus and tram services, with Burwood Station providing a further rail connection.
The university commute should be checked separately. The University of Melbourne, Victoria University and William Angliss Institute Australia are listed, but the supplied information does not provide exact journey times. Students should therefore verify the route to their specific campus and compare it with their class timetable.

The Burwood location adds another layer to the accommodation. Students have access to supermarkets, shopping centres, cafes, restaurants, pubs, parks, gyms, medical services and public transport in the surrounding area.

I stayed in Room 4 at New Classical House (Unit 1) for one year, and I genuinely had a fantastic experience. I would especially recommend this house to students moving to Melbourne, Australia for the first time, as it offers a very comfortable and supportive living environment. Gracia is an incredibly responsible, diligent, and kind-hearted landlord who ensures that everything runs smoothly. The house has a spacious and well-designed living area, and since it was built specifically for co-living, you truly get everything you pay for. All facilities are provided, and whenever something needed fixing, repairs and maintenance were handled very promptly. I rarely faced any issues during my stay, and whenever I did, they were resolved quickly and efficiently. I never had any unnecessary stress or problems while living here. If it fits within your budget, this house is an easy recommendation. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to others.

Hi all, I stayed with Gracia for around 5 years. She is really understanding, kind and generous, and I cannot ask for a better host. The location is great as well - close to the University, public transport and groceries. The condition of the house is A+. My experience was amazing for the past 5 years and I cannot recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Burwood Student Living to anyone in need of a home away from home. During my nearly year-long stay in one of their apartments, I found it to be a comfortable and welcoming environment, reminiscent of home. The proximity to Deakin University is a major plus. The facilities are well-maintained and include various amenities, all at an affordable price with bills included. I have no regrets about my time here. The apartment owners are exceptional, promptly addressing any concerns with care and efficiency. The wife, in particular, is exceptionally warm and attentive. Overall, as a student, this is the perfect place for you.

I stayed in 24 Goold Street- Park Lane (PL) house all throughout the course of my post graduate degree in Deakin University from Dec 2022, through to November 30th, 2024. The house gave me so much memories that I will treasure through the different housemates that I came across, some I can call life-long friends. Not only was PL house conveniently walking distance to my campus, but Gracia and Bill took great care of the us tenants. They would frequently check in on us, ensuring that basic needs were met, especially if you were new. Gracia is particular about cleanliness which made the house always looking presentable. On most days when I was not maintaining the cleanliness, Gracia was kind enough to text or drop in to remind me. PL house was also a great place to host friends for BBQs and dinners or sometimes, sleep overs. With the BBQ set and the private backyard, this gave us a great time to relax from our studies and just unwind over food and good vibes. PL house is the ideal place to live in if you’re studying or working close to Burwood, as the neighbourhood is usually quiet and respectful neighbours. With walking distance to the tram stop, bus stops, awesome restaurants (Gepettos) and the post office. You don’t have to travel to long to get to the supermarket (woollies or coles) up the road. Jordanville station is just 10 mins away by bus or 5 mins by drive, which was what I preferred to get to the city by metro. My rent covered all the amenities that I needed (wifi, electricity, gas and hot and cold water). If you’re considering moving in, I suggest that you come with an open mind and an optimistic outlook to this lovely environment. Thank you, Park Lane house, for all the memories (good and bad) during my studies period in Melbourne. If ever I have to further my studies or work in Burwood again, Park Lane house would be on the top of my list for accomodation.

I would highly recommend everyone this student housing!! I have lived in the 24 Goold street house for almost 1 year and 4 months. The house is very neat & clean and has all the basic facilities. Gracia has been such a lovely landlady. All the issues were solved immediately and best services were provided by her. That house has a beautiful backyard which was a saviour during the lockdown. Overall I had a great experience being a tenant here.
