Furnished 3-Room Apartment with Balcony in Reuterkiez, berlin

I stayed here for a week in January 2025. My room was clean but there were obvious issues. First, one of the motorised window shutters would not close. It was broken. Second, the floor level of the shower is higher than the floor level of the bathroom. I wondered why housekeeping had left what I thought was a window cleaning implement in the shower. After having a shower caused a flood I realised I needed to use it as a water broom to push the escaping water back into the shower so it could drain away. Third, the photos of the rooms are nothing like reality and a obviously of somewhere else that is nicer. Finally, their supposedly secure booking platform is not secure. In the weeks before I arrived I received two fraudulent scam WhatsApp messages from +55 dial code (Brazil) telling me my credit card was not authorised and my booking would be cancelled if I did not input my details at an obviously false scam website. This is their most serious failing.

Room is decent, though a little dirty. They claim on the website that they have a reception that is manned daily from 10 AM to 6 PM but that is not true, had to email them directly before they admitted that they do not have a reception. There were no soap left in the dispensers and no way to contact any type of maintenance or cleaning so we just had to buy our own soap which is annoying. The surrounding area is extremely noisy, you will get woken up early every morning by fire trucks and loud people. There are unfortunately also a lot of drug users in the area, often times right in front of the entrance to the apartment.

⭐ (1/5) We used Nena Apartments multiple times at other locations and that was a very comfortable experience BUT THIS ONE IS A CALAMITY. DO NOT BOOK - Absolutely Disgusting We checked out within 30 minutes of arrival - that's how bad it was. The room was filthy and completely unacceptable: - Floor was sticky as if there had been a party and nobody bothered to mop - Visible mold in the bathroom - Stains on every piece of furniture - couches, beds, everywhere This wasn't just "needs a touch-up" - this was a complete failure of basic housekeeping standards. The room looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. We had no choice but to find alternative accommodation immediately. If you're considering this hotel, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Basic cleanliness should be the bare minimum, and they failed spectacularly.

Our stay in Nena Apartments was awesome and fantastic, we passed there Christmas and new year in family. The apartment is spacious, bright and very well equipped, with everything you need to spend the necessary time. It is close to supermarkets and public transport connections, it was very easy to get to and move around the city. Ayman, the apartment manager gave us all information necessary to guarantee an comfortable stance from arrival to departure. We wait to visit again this excellent place!

Horrible experience. We stayed at Nena in Kreuzberg before, everything was perfect. This time we’re travelling with a child so we chose this location. Dirty couch, dirty floor, dirty windows, dirty walls, and much more. The smell of cigarettes in the hall. Left alone the fact that the crib for a kid wasn’t provided. The apartment was absolutely nasty. We had to book a hotel last minute. The reception in Nena was closed, nobody answered the emergency line. We are still being ghosted in our email box. No refund. Very sad. Won’t recommended this location to anyone.
