As one of the first people to have moved in I can wholeheartedly recommend this place if you’re looking for an all-inclusive micro-apartment in Berlin — especially if you’re relocating from out of town. The online application process was straightforward and a contract was promptly signed. The apartments come with a kitchenette, a standard set of furniture, as well as Wi-Fi. Other basic appliances can be borrowed on demand. The interior design of both the individual apartments as well as the communal spaces are modern, yet lively. The building provides among other things a laundromat, gym, parking garage, community living room/bar/kitchen, patio, and a roof terrace with a small football field and a view over the former Tempelhof airport. What really stands out in my opinion is our community manager and his team who are always at our disposal, whether it’s sorting out issues we may have, throwing the next house party, or simply receiving our amazon packages in our absence. Despite having encountered some frustrating technical hiccups when the place initially opened up, they have shown great commitment to resolve the problem as soon as possible while providing temporary workarounds in the meantime. The community of residents is friendly and supportive and everyone I’ve met so far was cool. 5/5 would recommend.

Absolutely horrible! You pay penthouse prices for slum apartments. The hot water goes out for 12 hours every day (and sometimes ALL water goes out completely every day), the internet goes out once every other week, the staff don't take care of the trash areas and leave it sloppy, maintenance never responds and will leave your broken sink broken for MONTHS, and when the elevator breaks once every 2 weeks, they can't be bothered to get it fixed within time frames set BY LAW for accessibility. They break so many laws here. You thought Berlin rent was expensive? You haven't seen anything until you come here. All of these problems can be yours for twice the rent of the nicest apartments in mitte.

Not gonna lie, this is by far the best student apartment I’ve lived in and now I live in i-Live 😏 • Very responsive hausmeister especially Jonas – extremely kind, helpful, and professional • Strong security – key card access for all entrances + CCTV • Clean and modern building (new condition) • Well-equipped rooms – basic furniture included • Plenty of storage space • Private bathroom with good water pressure (hot/cold works perfectly) • Fast private Wi-Fi + LAN available • Balcony with good sunlight • Fridge works very well (it freeze things on max 😅) • Shutter-style blinds included • Great community – friendly residents • Gym, laundry room, underground parking, rooftop area with seating + small football court • Regular community events (great way to meet people)

Since Jonas joined iLive – Tempelhof, the overall condition of the building has imprpved and became more noticeable. Tenant requests have been followed up by him and brought to positive conclusions. One of the most important differences is that he is actually present in the office — approachable, responsive, and positive. This is something we hadn’t experienced for quite a long time, as the office used to be closed almost every day, with no one available to respond to tenants’ requests. Common areas are now more cleaner and tidy, especially community room, gym, and restrooms. There have also been some improvements to the gym equipment. The internet connection is better, and the recent hot water outage was finally resolved with his consistent follow-ups. As a tenant, I’m happy that a responsive person is here, and I hope this progress continues. I also hope iLive HQ management recognizes that people like Jonas are truly valuable assets to any organization.

Avoid at all costs. I have lived here and there are constant problems in the building. Sometimes the wifi will just randomly stop working, or the lift. All this for probably the highest rent you'll pay for a tiny studio. The building managers are helpful but the company itself is just a scam. Oh and not forget, building is not secure at all. Like many reviews here suggest, there have been burglaries and since the main door is almost always broken, anyone can enter the building
