WE 18 Cosy apartment close to Stadtpark Rotehorn, magdeburg

It’s one of the best place to live if you are in the university. It’s little expensive on the other hand compared to other places available in the surrounding but it’s fine. Even the building is famous and know by many people in the city. A tram station Universitätsplatz is just in front of it makes it greatly connected to city

Not giving it 1 star since I called this place home for a while. It has it's ups and downs. Great location with respect to convenience for students. There's a tram station nearby, it's reasonably priced for how much space you get, and supermarkets are within walking distance. Only two washing machines for 15 floors! Not enough. Unfortunately the positivity ends there. Management is very unprofessional, they will not respond to emails and calls. So if you need something fixed, good luck. I had to endure a lot of unnecessary stress and bullshit in my last few weeks for the transfer of contract. I basically had to harass them at their headquarters to make them contact the other interested party. This behavior is shameful and sheds a bad light for a place that's supposedly "civilized". Had to harass them again for my damage deposit once I left the country, otherwise they would have stolen the entire 800 euros. Pathetic behavior. Although I do miss my apartment, If you're ready to endure all of the above mentioned, then I would recommend you live here.

It's little bit expensive as compared to normal house but it's worth it you can get all access in nearby areas and view from window is also outstanding.

Maintaince of the building is very bad. Elevators break at least once a month. They take very long to fix, but soon break again, so the safety is too unreliable. Hot water is also a problem. It is often gone and take 3-4 days to come back. Any problem you have, they take 1 month just to answer, so fixing is at least 3 months. Very suspicious actions when contract is cancelled. Deposit is often only returned partially with not plausible allegations. They are not reliable at all. The building is never clean. Couldn't find any worse place.

Its a good place for student to live in. The building is well maintained. The building has 15th Floor with two elevators and a big lobby at the ground floor with ample place to seat and chat with friends. It offer good view of the city from the Top floors. The building authority however has a very slow response on the application and several followups required to get the things done.
