Great central location! It's super close to big supermarkets and only a 15-minute walk downtown. The building is old but totally functional for the price you pay. It has a nice courtyard, laundry, and a study room. Heads up: if you want something super modern, it'll cost you more! The internet was a bit slow at first, but they did manage to fix the issue. The reception staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I honestly think this is a solid choice if you're new to Mtp, especially for settling in temporarily while you look for a permanent place. I spent four months in a shared room, and my overall experience was positive. I would recommend it.

I have stayed at this residence as an exchange student. Considering the price and quality ratio it is amazing. For the price of 400 euro i have my own room and shared kitchen, bathroom. There are two big supermarkets right next to the residence and a few public washing machines. The wifi is sometimes slow but if you have a lan cable there is no problem. It is also 10-15 minutes from the city centre so it is pretty well connected with trams. The neighbourhood can sometimes feel a bit sketchy but its not bad. There is a shared room for learning and a small patio inside the complex with chairs and tables. In comparison to what my friends were paying this is a good deal.

Quite expensive but definitely worth it! With 2 huge supermarkets around the corner and the city center within a 5 minute walk the location is perfect! The rooms are fully furnished and equipped and they clean the rooms once a month and hand out fresh towels as well every month. The Wifi is terrible but the internet connection by cable couldn't be better, super fast! The only downside is doing the laundry. Its a huge residence and there are only 2 washing and drying machines. Which are quite expensive to use, smell pretty bad and are almost always occupied.

The only good thing about this place was the location. First of all, the rooms look nothing like they do online, the toilet didn't even work the first day and they had to come fix it. Both my sinks fill up so fast, the draining system is absolute garbage. The wifi is very very slow and sometimes it dosen't even work. The "silence after 10" rule seems to be ignored by most people here and on some weekdays I couldn't sleep because of people screaming and laughing untill midnight. Laundry is also expensive and the two machines are almost always occupied. I don't want to imagine how hot this place can get in summer but in April during my two week stay it was freezing every morning and there was nothing I could do to warm up my studio. another thing that really bothered me was the smell of the hallways wich fortunately was not present in the room..overall not the best experience.

My experience during my language school stay with this residence has been thoroughly positive. The studios are clean, big enough and sufficiently equipped. The small kitchenette in the studios is probably not too great if you are really into cooking though. But for preparing smaller, uncomplicated meals it's fine. The entrance hall and commonly shared areas, like the patio, the study hall or the communal kitchen are also fine and useful if you want to hang out with neighbors. Staff at the reception is overall helpful. You just have to ask them for info. You can borrow cleaning equipment or ventilators. I also liked that a security guard is present each night. I read some reviews that people were disappointed with studios with old furniture that don't look at all like the studios on the photos. My guess is that these studios have been refurbished just over the course of this summer and that there might not be any studios left with the old furniture pieces. Which is why, hopefully, no one will be disappointed again with studios that look completely different from the photos. I had those violet colored shelves, desks etc. that you can see on the sample pics on the residence' website. Regarding the WiFi. For me the provided connection was great and absolutely not too slow (as some of the other reviewers have been saying). I arrived at the residence expecting the worst, but then discovered that for instance streaming netflix movies was no problem at all. The location of this residence is very good. Language schools in the city centre can be reached within 15 min on foot. As for Universities, I am not sure. I guess many students have bikes or they take the tram. It's also great that there are two supermarkets - Lidl and Intermarché, which offers laundromats (should the two washing machines at the residence be constantly in use). Overall, I have to say that for for the purpose of my stay, this residence is recommendable. Should you be very noise sensitive, I would suggest to maybe ask in advance if you can be provided with a room that doesn't go out to the patio. However, be warned if your room faces the street the noise of motorcycles and general traffic and the daily garbage collection can be pretty loud in the morning too.
