Room in Amerstorfferstraße, 81549 München-Obergiesing-Fasangarten, Germany, munich

I’ve been living in The Stay Campus for 6 months. And this is the best place I could find in Munich. I like that next to the campus it is a quiet neighbourhood. Stores, post offices and even cafes are in 5 minutes from the campus. And most of all I like my room!

It is a very convenient place to stay, especially if you study at Martinsried campus. High quality student dorm with reasonable price to quality ratio. The building is relatively new, the rooms are clean and modern, include own bathroom and own little kitchen. One can also get some space in the cellar. General areas (incl laundry room) are cleaned daily. The staff is friendly and helpful, the application process is easy and smooth. Neighbourhood is peaceful and quite. There’re supermarkets, restaurants, weekly local market around. From here both S-Bahn and U-Bahn are easily reachable (by bus, or a short walk to U-Bahn on foot)

I lived in The Stay Campus during my summer semester and I had a very good time there. There are many positive aspects. The area is quiet and green, well-served by transports (40 minutes to reach LMU University and the city centre). The campus is new, clean and well-equipped. My room was spacious and comfortable, there was everything I needed (comfy bed, microwave oven, a wide-screen television......). There is a very beautiful lounge and a garden with armchairs and tables where I spent many evenings with other students from all over the world. There is also a laundry room with washing machines, dryers and irons. Last, but not least, the staff is always available for every request. I had a very positive experience and would recommend it.

The campus is located 40 minutes from the city center and offers apartments that look like small hotel rooms. In case of any problems, one can always turn to the technicians or the reception at Stay.Residence, with which the campus is connected. The place is ideal for people seeking privacy, as the neighbors respect your personal space. For those interested in socializing, there's the option to do so in the kitchen during dinner. Overall, I am happy with my stay.

I’ve lived at the Stay Campus for the past six months, for the summer semester. My stay couldn’t have been better. I instantly loved my room: it was spacious, modern and in perfect condition. My kitchen, room and bathroom were separated in different parts (the rooms and views are not all the same). My windows were big. All the rooms (I’ve seen) have plenty of sunlight. The neighborhood is safe and calm. There are a lot of facilities nearby: supermarkets, restaurants, biergarten, gym, bars, cafeteria, pharmacy, university campus, etc. Everyone I’ve met at the dorm or in the surroundings is really nice. There is always staff at your disposal: the contractor, the Residence workers and cleaning staff. The shared kitchen and living room and the terrace are relaxing, well-equipped and cleaned everyday. Be conscious that the dorm is not exactly at Munich. For instance, if you study at Garching, the ride will take 1h - 1h 15min, which was my case and to go to the center it’ll take 30 - 40 min. However, there are a lot of public transport options and they are all OK. I would definitely recommend this dorm.
