Aventinstraße - 2. OG / Apartment 212, munich

Stayed one night during Oktoberfest. Right in the heart of Marienplatz. Easy to check in, I received the two codes right at 3:00 PM (front door and room lock box). I did ask a question online and received an answer within 10 minutes. The single room had a bed, fridge, closet, TP, towel, so everything that I expected. It was indeed clean. Bathrooms were fine; and they were separate male/female bathrooms. No issues with Wifi. I left the key on the room drop box and no hassle checking out. I'm sure that during Oktoberfest the price doubled, but that goes for everything. For a single night where you just need a bed to crash it was fine. It's a hostel after all.

Nice cheap place, excellent location near the central station. Check-in was easy (you receive instructions 5 mins before check-in starts) and the room had everything we needed. Beds were very creaky and made you feel like you were laying in a sinkhole, I would not stay here longer if I wanted quality sleep. Shared bathroom facilities is always a gamble, another guest unfortunately made a mess shortly after the bathrooms had been cleaned. All in all a good stay if you don't need any luxury :-)

The room at this hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in. There was a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the toilet that spread throughout the room. I asked the staff to either move me to another room or fix the problem, but they never responded. Their customer service was completely unhelpful. The room was also so dirty that I ended up cleaning it myself at the start, even though I had asked the staff to come and clean it. They only mopped the floor. It wasn't worth even a single cent, and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

The building is like a youth hostel but with only rooms with basic facilities: a kettle, a microwave owen and a shared bathroom/showers. The location is central and it's well-priced and everything is reasonably clean and secure. I'd recommended if you're only looking to sleep and get a shower in the morning for 1/2days at a good price and in a central location.

Excellent stay in Munich! Everything was perfect. The location is outstanding, directly in front of Hauptbahnhof, which made transportation very easy. The room was excellent and had everything I needed, almost like a studio apartment, including a fridge and stovetop. The room and bathroom were very clean, with towels and soap provided. The price was very good for such a central location. There is also Lidl and Rossmann in the next street, plus many hotels and services nearby, including Mercure just across from the hotel. I was worried because of some bad comments I read before arriving, but my experience was completely different. Don’t trust all the negative reviews, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.
