Comfy single bedroom in Moosach, munich

During my tenancy, there was, in my experience, a severe infestation of silverfish, firefish, and paperfish, both in the hallways and in my room. I noticed insects in the bed and numerous ones on the ceiling as soon as I moved in. Furthermore, I repeatedly witnessed urination in front of the building and sometimes even in the elevators, and the police were regularly called to the building. My complaints and inquiries to the property management company were met with, in my opinion, only unfriendly dismissals. I am relieved to have moved out.

I can't agree with the negative reviews. (Except for the €3.50 for a wash cycle. That's outrageous!). It's a modern new building and the rooms have a good layout. The rent is fair for Munich, and the property management is friendly and helpful. The transport links are excellent. You can get anywhere in under 30 minutes, there's an Aldi and a Rossmann drugstore right outside, and the U-Bahn, tram, buses, and S-Bahn are all easily accessible. The Olympia Shopping Centre, Olympic Park, gyms, and Nymphenburg Palace are all just a few stops away. The universities are also within easy reach.

Hot water fails regularly, but no one does anything about it. There's a severe infestation of silverfish and paperfish. The rent is ridiculously high (around €750 for 21m², and that's the cheapest option), but in Munich, such inhumane conditions are apparently normalized. The balcony and courtyard are nice. Update: The problem with the water outages has worsened, and there's one water leak after another in the basement. The ceiling is already collapsing in places. I could claim a rent reduction, but contacting the actual landlords is being made remarkably difficult. Edit: Lol, the owner must be out of his mind. "This review does not concern studiomuc in Frankfurt, please delete." Yeah, right, it doesn't. That's why this review is under the Google Maps entry for Studiosus 3 in Moosach... I couldn't care less what it's like in Frankfurt.

There are certainly worse places to live, but if you don't absolutely have to, you're better off not moving in here. Since December, there's been a regular lack of hot water, and the property management company is shirking all responsibility, claiming an external company is supposedly taking care of it. Despite all their efforts, nothing seems to be changing. Furthermore, the washing machines and elevators are frequently out of order, and you have to pay €3.50 for a single wash (I don't know about you, but that seems a bit steep). There's also a silverfish/paperfish infestation, which is difficult to control because the creatures are also found in the hallways and laundry rooms. The rent is relatively okay for Munich – though not really justified under the circumstances. At least you have your own balcony and can sit in the courtyard when the weather is nice. The public transport connections via the U3 subway, bus, tram, and S-Bahn are also decent.
