Overall, a great place to live in Berlin! Stacey Apartments is one of the best housing options for both students and young professionals. There are several room types available, but even the most affordable option is excellent: you get your own private room and share the kitchen and bathroom with just one flatmate. The location is fantastic. Since Berlin is quite spread out, living in such a central area makes it easy to reach almost anything in the city. There are, however, two downsides: the laundry and the vacuum cleaners. The laundry room is quite expensive, as each wash costs around €4–5, and you must bring your own detergent. In addition, the vacuum cleaner system isn’t ideal. Each vacuum is assigned to all residents, which means many people simply keep them in their rooms—leaving none available for others. Stacey should definitely improve this setup. Overall, I’d still recommend Stacey as a solid option for an initial or temporary stay in Berlin. Just a heads-up: Stacey does not allow contracts to end in December!

I stayed for more than two months in Stacey Alster and overall this was an excellent experience ! The booking process was easy and done by email. The paperwork was easy to fill, and the customer service very flexible (I have been able to choose the exact dates I wanted for my stay). The check in informations were easy to follow and sent by email as well. During my stay, the place was kept clean as mentionned (with the cleaning service coming one or two times a week). The room was as described and quite comfortable. The customer service during the stay was really reactive and addressed every single issue I had, even going further than what they had to do ! The location was great as well, being 5-8mn by foot from Hamburg Hbf. After my stay, customer service was, again, very reactive and helpful. My documents and safety deposit were sent as described without any issue. Overall, for a short / medium stay in Hamburg, this really is a wonderful option, and the excellent customer service truly makes it a great experience.

I stayed with STACEY for several months in Berlin and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price paid. During my stay, I experienced repeated maintenance and management issues, including: - being without a dishwasher for around two months, - recurring hot water problems for approximately one month, - prolonged period without heating during cold weather, - unavailable cleaning equipment, - long delays resolving issues with shared appliances, - and most seriously, being locked out of my apartment late at night due to a SALTO lock/access failure. On the night of the lock issue, I returned home after work around midnight and could not access the apartment. The emergency contact did not answer my calls or emails, and I had no choice but to stay in a hotel overnight. I only regained access the following day, while the lock itself was only fully repaired later in the afternoon. Although I provided documentation, hotel invoices, screenshots, and email records, the company repeatedly delayed responses for weeks and ultimately only offered a partial reimbursement while refusing to take full responsibility. What frustrated me most was not only the technical issues themselves, but the way problems were handled: slow communication, lack of accountability, and constant delays in resolving situations that affected basic living conditions and access to the apartment. I understand that technical problems can happen anywhere. However, for the price charged, I expected professional support and effective problem resolution, which unfortunately was not my experience.

I stayed in Stacey Muhlenkamp for about 6 months. It's a very nice location with abundant green cover. The stay has been very fulfilling with my ground floor window opening to vines -- never felt the heat in peak summer and enjoyed the rains thoroughly. The Stacey admin responds to request very promptly - they refill the kitchen cleaning material, clean garbage etc timely once a week. Friendly staff, eager to help.

What a wonderful stay, the communication and the customer support is super quick and super responsible. housekeeping ladies are super kind. Flat is clean at all times, big kitchen full equipped. I would definitely recommend it. Bests Amer
