Worst dorm ever. The manager lady doesn't answer emails. She kept my 600 euro deposit and didn't give it back. When I called her for the money, she blocked me. Nothing was damaged, and I have pictures to prove it, but getting a lawyer is expensive, and she knows that.

No peace. Just pure stress and disappointment. Avoid this disaster at all costs, it’s a scam dressed as a dorm. First and foremost, the person responsible for the dorm, Frau Machel, is incredibly rude and unprofessional, disrespectful to students, and the modt useless person I’ve ever met. She never replies, never helps, just takes your money. Don’t expect any support, help, or even basic communication from her — she never replies to emails, ignores requests, and treats residents as if they’re a burden rather than paying tenants. Services? What services? You’re charged monthly for “management” and “maintenance” but receive absolutely nothing in return. The building is dirty, old, and neglected. Common areas are rarely cleaned, and it feels like the place is falling apart. Issues like broken facilities or hygiene problems are never addressed. This dorm is basically a money grab — all they care about is charging students while offering no comfort, no respect, and no proper living conditions. New students: please look elsewhere. You deserve a safe, clean, and respectful place to live. This is not it.

Worst place you could ever get in Hamburg. You’re supposed to pay a fee that includes bills and WiFi. There is no internet whatsoever. The place is dirty and either the lady in charge of the Student Lodge and the Agency are completely incompetent and unbothered. They wouldn’t answer calls, emails or any kind of communication. Do yourself a favor and find a bridge to sleep under, rather than this rotting place.

Do your self a favor and dont book in there. The management is very bad! They only take your money while they do nothing for you. Very bad furniture at a price of 470 € for 10 square meters !? There are much better student residences in Hamburg!

The Students Lodge is not a Hotel! You can rent a room as example for a month or longer. If you need a room for a long time it's okay but very expensive.
