Chambre 5 - FRAISSINETTE, saint-etienne

I've stayed here for few months as a foreign student. It was really a comfortable place.

OP must nerf

Even though students receive financial aid, the prices aren't cheap. However, the setting is quite nice and the location is decent, in the sense that there are worse places. I can't give it more than two stars because the on-call caretaker/concierge lives in this residence and is completely unhinged (a man who isn't very tall but is very thick-skinned, stocky, bald, and has a crazy look in his eyes) who flies off the handle at the slightest remark. He even chased and tried to hit the car of a student who, annoyed because the gate was stuck closed, had made a slightly unpleasant comment about its condition. The on-call caretaker flew into a rage, feeling slighted, and refused to open the gate for the student in his car. Luckily, another student who also wanted to leave came to the gate so he could open it and everyone could get out. The on-call security guard, however, chased the student he'd argued with for several meters, allowing the student to escape. He pursued him onto the road for about twenty meters, hurling insults and throwing punches (fortunately, they missed) with the intention of damaging the student's car. The student put himself in danger by starting the engine as fast as possible to flee the enraged security guard who was chasing him to smash his vehicle. If I remember correctly, this happened in 2017, on a Sunday in the early afternoon. Given that rents are already high, it's only fair that the gate be in working order. Imagine there's an emergency or the fire department and paramedics need to intervene. What happens if the gate gets stuck closed? This constitutes gross professional misconduct, and even if the student pointed it out in annoyance, the on-call guard's reaction was disproportionate. This on-call officer must surely have violence problems; he has already been heard yelling in the small house in which he lives, where children can sometimes be heard crying, very close to the gate of the residence... which raises some concerns.

A warm welcome from Caroline. Excellent explanations, slightly outdated buildings with varied rooms, spaces designed for leisure activities for young people.

This place is super nice, just like me. You can relax and enjoy yourself as much as you like. And I love the decorations they do for the parties 😘😘❤️❤️
