One of the best residence to stay in Saint Etienne. The manager Sophie is very kind and help you in every possible way. Located in front of UJM Trefilerie campus and there is a tram stop near the residence.

I really enjoyed my 6 months stay here. They were very prompt in responding to issues. Will recommend this apartment to anyone who will like to live in St Etienne.

1) Feedback on a shared apartment in this residence I rented an apartment in this student residence through a private landlord, as the residence is a co-ownership with several owners. At the end of my lease (December 2024), the move-out inspection was completed without any issues, and the keys were returned the same day. I was told that my security deposit would be returned promptly. Despite several follow-ups, I have still not received my deposit back, nor any recent response. As a student, this situation is very stressful. I recommend that future tenants be vigilant and keep all correspondence in writing. 2) The fact that some apartments in the residence are managed by private landlords is not clearly identifiable to students upon arrival. When moving into a student residence, one naturally assumes that management is centralized by the residence operator. It is only later that one discovers that it is a co-ownership property comprising several landlords, each with their own practices. This structure can create confusion for students, who don't always know who to contact if they encounter a problem. In this context, it would be important for the residence to pay particular attention to the landlords to whom units are sold within the building, and for students to be given clearer information on the distinction between directly managed units and those belonging to private landlords, so that everyone knows exactly what to expect.

This is a very good residence. It's well located, close to public transport and shops. The apartment was well insulated, clean, and functional. Any minor issues that might arise are quickly resolved thanks to the staff. I highly recommend it.

Excellent student residence with great reception service. Thank you, Sophie, for being so helpful and friendly at all times. The room is very bright and practical, with a large bed and a quality mattress. Public transport is nearby, and the residence is secure. I highly recommend it for students.
