Room in Burg-Eltz-Weg, 81375 München-Hadern, Germany, munich

This dorm is not fancy like Stibo or robustious like studentenstadt. But, It has some unique identity. Specially, spacious room, personal refrigerator and plastic curtain which you can control from your bed using electric switch.

I had a very good experience, I had the luck to have amazing neighbors. I really liked my room, very spacious with the toilet inside. Location was perfection for me as my campus was just walking distance. There's a forest for running etc. nearby. I have already missed it. That's why I felt the need to leave a comment haha

Girls (and decent boys), look for another place. I'd rather live 50km away from Uni instead of living here. Every room has a bathroom and that's the only positive aspect of this dorm but you have to share the kitchen with 9 neighbors, so 10 people share one kitchen that has one oven, one microwave and 4 hot plates. Maximum of 2 persons can cook at the same time and usually around evening when everyones home and want to cook, majority cant because two persons will keep it occupied for hours!!!! That was my experience. You're not allowed to keep a hot plate in your room and cook there because of the smoke detector!! You'll be kicked out if you remove the smoke detector. If you have no luck you'll have to share your kitchen with 9 men and you can't change floor/room/student apartment neither before you move in nor during your stay!!!! So choose a good place before you apply for a dorm. I've tried several times to get at least my room changed, even when the other rooms were empty for a long time the Studentenwerk München would not allow it. It's very noisy at night time, you can't study nor relax if your disrespectful neighbors throw parties at 2am on a weekday and play loud Bollywood songs you don't want to listen to. I didn't feel save as a woman there. It had a negative impact on my studies as I couldn't study properly nor sleep well. Nationalities mainly south asians (indians, pakistanis, bangladesh) and Chinese. I've experienced that these people are usually in big groups among themselves. I didn't get along with them even though I'm a very open minded person who has friends of different nationalities but here in this student apartment the culture shock was real and the groups mainly consisted of male students who probably have never seen women in their lifes (at least that's how they acted).

Newly designed, next to U bahn Klinikum Großhadern, very quiet, has awesome party room, spacious kitchen and cleanliness is well maintained in this student Dorm(There is a cleaning Person assigned to this dorm which is 😎).

Most horrible place I've ever stayed. Don't recommend it to women. I felt like living in some suburbs of india
