Great location next to the S3 line (15 minutes to alexanderplatz). The room was large and had all expected accessories. However, the divider between the bed and the room made the bed about 10cm shorter than comfortable for me. The floor was dirty, they bathroom was relatively small compared to the rest of the room. This means one 1 person can reasonably be in the bathroom at a time and opening and closing doors is a 'dance'. The lift requires your roomkey to access your floor, but the reader is flaky and taking the stairs negates needing your roomkey to get to your floor. The complex is mostly self-serve, with a conciërge available part of the day, biat mostly you run your questions through an ipad in the lobby. A big plus is the coffee place next door, where great coffee, breakfast lunch and basic diners can be bought for take away. Multiple supermarkets are across the street and the train station has fast food options open late at night.

The elevator is broken, it doesn't recognise door entry cards properly. The shower is very low pressure, it's not like a hotel. The shower door is fitted incorrectly so I wasted the small amount of towels provided mopping that up. There is loud ventilation in the room that wakes you up at 6am and you can't turn it off. I messaged the management via the booking app I used and they told me they would send someone to fix the problems, but no one came.

For an apartment community that prides itself on being smart and cutting-edge, this property fails at the basics. For a short stay, the inconveniences might be tolerable or even overlooked. For a long stay, they become difficult to ignore. The Good - 24-hour check-in through the mobile interface at the front desk is convenient and well implemented. The Bad Key card system: The key card used to operate the elevator is unreliable. It often requires repeatedly moving the card over the reader or holding it against the reader for several seconds before it recognizes the card. Furniture: The apartment is furnished with style in mind rather than comfort. There isn't a single ergonomic chair suitable for working on a computer for extended periods. Even the built-in bench seating is uncomfortable, as the thin cushions do little to soften the hard wooden surface. No air conditioning: The apartment remains uncomfortably warm, even when the weather outside is cool. For a modern building that caters largely to international guests, the absence of air conditioning is a significant oversight. The only option is to leave the windows open, which lets insects into the apartment while doing little to cool the space because there is very little airflow. Despite sleeping with two fans pointed directly at me, I still wake up sweating and frequently struggle to sleep comfortably. Size: The apartment is very small. It is barely adequate for one person and would be cramped for a couple staying for more than a few days. Value: At nearly €2,000 per month, the value proposition simply isn't there. At this price point, there are larger apartments with more comfortable furnishings and significantly better livability. A modern design cannot compensate for poor ergonomics, inadequate climate control, and an uncomfortable living environment. Overall, this apartment looks impressive in photos, but living in it is a different experience. If you're staying only a few nights, you may not notice these issues. If you're planning to stay for weeks or months, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Edit : Also, If you have you have any problems on the weekend, you will be stuck talking to a chatbot because the building is not staffed on the weekends. To the management of Smartments , this is an impromper use of AI. AI does not replace the need for human customer service. The proper way is to use it to triage urgent matters to humans while it handles basic questions. Who is making the decisions in this company ? Nothing makes sense .

I don’t suggest staying at this place and won’t come again: 1. No air con, it’s 38 degree outside, only one fan provided, literally sleep in sweat 2. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided 3. Water from the shower seeped out and make the whole bathroom wet, there’s no drain in the bathroom so it caused stagnant water 4. No place or room for you to store luggage, you need to find a luggage store nearby (which don’t have any nearby, LMAO) and pay extra 5. Escalator with a broken card reader, stand inside the lift for 1-2mins just to press the damn buttons cuz the card reader unable to read my card every time, so it spend a lot of time proceed to press my room floor 6. No one no staff you can call for assistance, there’s no staff here on Saturday and Sunday, literally helpless cuz my first two night is exactly on sat and sun 7. Expensive price (130euro per night) with this quality, not worth it at all Just don’t, seriously, a waste of money, never in my life stay in such GREAT hotel or apartment whatever you call😭😭😭 giving one star is my last mercy, posting this comment in sweat bro ffs

Good place to stay. Tram, S Bahn all closest. Netto and other retails in the same building area. Only service is slow
