I lived for two years at Felixx kaiserin Augusta allee location. For a student the room is more than comfortable and meets all requirements. The apartments is aptly located near markets and public transport. All the facilities are in good condition. My only issue with the place is as below 1. The rent is too high for the facilities provided and the room size. I paid EUR690 monthly rent. 2. The laundry room though good, always had issues with dryers that don’t work for which the management never took any action. Else the atmosphere is good and overall a good students dorm.

I stayed 2 months in the ´Smartments´ through EF Language school - it´s functional and practical. Unfortunately, they didn´t get rid of the problem with silverfish, but first week I did a detailed cleaning (weekly cleaning is very superficial, TIP: check under microwave) and the problem was almost gone. There are washing machines available at reasonable price. The area is quite distinctive, feels more like Middle East than Germany, but it didn´t feel unsafe and it is well-connected with buses with the rest of the city.

I have been living here for more or less 2 months. This is a great place to live! Located in a strategic area, close to most-essential things like late night or normal grocery shops, cheap eats and public transports. Right in front of the building there's a beautiful canal where you can just sit and read a book while enjoying the sun(when it is sunny :)) For Berlin, the price is really reasonable!. The room is fully equipped. The "Hausmeister" is pretty much always there and ready to help. Yet the company itself isn't really well organized. I moved twice because my current room wasn't finished, and the company won't take any responsibility (even by sending me a little help in bringin my stuff) i have a lot of stuff because i moved from other part of Germany. They put me in a different room which is more expensive. I was thinking(negative side of me) that it was one of their marketing strategies to persuade me to take the more expensive room. Even they gave me a promotional offer like i could stay there, 3 months with the lower price, and afterwards the normal price. But i refused because the contract says my room is my current room. However i live now in my actual room. And i am happy to live here!

I have mixed feelings about my stay . Concerning the residence, I am disappointed that on my arrival on Sunday, when all the shops are closed, no toilet paper, soap, cloths,... Are provided. Especially for a two week stay there should be a minimum!

Elevator nearly never works. The corridors are smelling, sometimes from weed. No proper cleaning.
