Room in 31 rue de Cugnaux Toulouse 31000 FR, toulouse

I have spent 2 amazing months in this beautiful residence in the heart of Toulouse. The residence manager helped me since my first email in december, found me a good solution for my stay and was very supportive with all the french bureaucracy (which is comparable to the italian one, really complicated!). Once arrived here, everything was exactly as expected, even better! I had a T2 apartment on the 4th floor with a great view on the beautiful St. Sernin cathedral. I had everything I needed for a two-months stay. The manager was really helpful with every sort of need. He helped me with the electricity and the insurance companies (since I didn't speak french), and made everything to make my permanence there really nice. in conclusion, I would definitely come back there if I need aa good place in Toulouse in the future!! ere some additional info which might be interesting for those who are looking for an accomodation in Toulouse: 1) The apartment was kept in good conditions, with nice furnitures 2) remember to subscribe a contract with energy company to have electricity possibly one day before your arrival, since everything is electric (kitchen burners, shower, radiators) and it takes one day to have everything working. 3) there are no sheets and towels. I mean, the structure offers them, but in my opinion they are quite expensive. I managed to buy everything at Primark. Not the best quality but it was ok for just two months. otherwise my suggestion is to bring them from your home, if possible! 4) the kitchen is a bit small (as it well shown in the pictures). I don't like cooking, but I'm italian (meaning that I like to eat well :) ). I found some lack of kitchen furnitures and I really missed a proper oven, since you only have a microwave oven with the grill function. unfortunately it is not the best for some dishes. I bought some extra stuff (a pot, some real cutting kives etc) and left in the apartment for the next tenant). maybe this thing can be improved by replacing the microwaves with some tiny electric ovens! 5) the common space downstairs is really nice, really useful if you want to meet new people! warm and cozy, you can also have small parties during the weekend. as all the common spaces, it is everyone duty to keep it clean and tidy. 6) laundry machines are fee-paying and there are only two (plus one dryer), despite these low numbers, I've never had to wait for doing a laundry. In my opinion the price is quite expensive (3.00€ for the washing machine, 1.80€ for the dryer). this could be improved. 7) I've never had any problem with heating systems and hot water, but in case just check with the manager. 8) the position is SUPER. it's just unbeatable!!. Really quite, 10 minutes walk from everywhere, there are tons of nice bars really close by. Really a good choice. In case you need any additional info, the staff is really helpful and available. Secured modern flats in the city!

I lived in the Carré Saint Sernin residence for eight months, from September 2025 to April 2026. The residence is very well located, right in the city center, secure, and well-maintained. My apartment was well-laid-out, modern, and very bright. The only drawback is that the residence is located right next to a primary school, and you do experience some noise (the school bell in the morning, children playing in the playground, etc.). Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my stay in this residence and I hope to return next year. I would like to mention the excellent welcome from the residence manager, Ms. Matarel, her kindness, and her helpfulness. I would also like to mention the prompt refund of my security deposit by Les Belles Années, which was processed exactly one month after I moved out.
