3 - UNION, toulouse

Stayed here for an entire week and would absolutely recommend it! Very good value for money (if you stay at least 7 nights it counts as a long stay and you get a very good rate!). The staff is welcoming, friendly, helpful. There is always fresh water and around 4pm even a small free snack available. The long stay rooms have a kitchenette, good AC (cold enough but not too overpowering), a comfortable bed and plenty of TV channels to enjoy. The pool has a great temperature and the entire vibe of the hotel is just very friendly and cool. It is next to the Japanese garden, a 5min walk from the bus stop for the aeroport and the city center is walking distance (20min). Just a couple of small little details that could be better (but I don’t expect them to be better given the price): they forgot to clean the fridge so the pizza from the previous guests was still in there. There is no kitchen towel to dry your dishes. Since they only clean the room once a week if you book a long term stay, it would be better if they provided an extra towel for the bathroom (probably my own mistake but I used the pool in the morning when there was no towel service so I used my bathroom towel which then made it unusable so I had to use the little one for a couple of days until cleaning was done). While the pool area is beautiful and the pool has the perfect temperature, the very limited amount of sun loungers available makes it a somewhat unsocial experience when the pool opens at 10 and people have to run to get to a lounger first. A lot of the other available seating is not very comfortable so there could be some improvement there. But these are very minor details and even if they aren’t improved I would still come back to this hotel because you truly get more than what you pay for.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Social Hub Toulouse. The location is super convenient, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The Gym is 24/7 and offers basic equipments to workout, including an outdoor area. I personally appreciate the rooftop , so good to come back to after long days in the summer heat, even just for a quick dip to cool down. Breakfast at the restaurant was also good, with a solid buffet to start the day right and a great selection of French pastries. Big thanks to Marta for organizing my stay, the whole team for the support throughout and especially Dalma for kindly helping me with a lost item after I left. She was genuinely very helpful. Couldn't recommend it enough!

A lovely place to stay! The staff cannot do more to help. The pool is amazing and great for socialising especially with great events on every day. Food and drinks are great and well priced and rooms cool which is great in a heatwave. Fantastic place to stay!

A totally spectacular 2-night stay for me in the peak heat of summer. Reception was friendly and professional, and security is very thorough with exterior entrances (at night) and interior floors and elevators requiring room key cards. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it had a great-looking breakfast buffet and nice ambience looking out to a big plaza. Best of all during my stay was the rooftop pool. Vibrant scene up there, and the ideal way to cool off and chill after a day of walking around the city. The bartenders up there now know how to make a perfect painkiller.

We stayed here for 4 nites during the Toulouse v Hull FC rugby game in September. It's a great location in the city centre. The lobby and reception area is really cool, very chic and retro at the same time. A great cafe too, with indoor and outdoor seating. The rooms were a bit studenty. But you have to remember this is bang central to the universities and half the hotel are student accommodation. It's a very secure place to stay. Your room card is needed to access the elevator and rooftop pool and bar area so it's very safe. The rooms were clean, a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit of a let down as the wash basin was in your room and not in the bathroom. Shower was ok, but not very powerful. The rooftop pool was a godsend especially in 36 degrees heat which we had the time we were there. You have to be quick getting a sun bed though as it opens at 10am and there are only 4 large cabana's which is a shame as they take up far too much room. A simpler idea would to get smaller and more sunbeds in. The bar doesn't open til 4pm which is a shame, especially when you are sunbathing all day, which we had to do as it was too hot to walk around Toulouse. Cocktails are amazing though.
