We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The place itself is wonderful and has all the amenities you could need. The WiFi was flawless and the kitchen has everything you need. The place is very spacious. The host is great at communication and hospitality. ​From the moment we booked, we knew exactly what to expect upon arrival. The check-in process was seamless, and the host even left a thoughtful note that made us feel instantly welcome. ​The location couldn't be better! We loved exploring the neighborhood and appreciated the excellent local recommendations provided. Public transport to tram and bus is both within a minute walk. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay with a host who truly cares about your experience, look no further. We would absolutely stay here again!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The location is really great – coffee shops, restaurants and everything you need for going out are very close by, and the connection to the train and subway is also really good. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated and, above all, incredibly spacious. The rooms are large and offer plenty of space. It was particularly pleasant for us to have two separate rooms – especially when traveling with a young adult child or with friends, it's just perfect. The house and the apartment itself are also particularly nice: Despite the very central location, there is a green, shady backyard that gives the whole building a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. And even when it was very hot outside, it remained pleasantly cool in the apartment – really relaxing after a hot day in the city. Thank you, Matteo, for these days and for your hospitality.

Mateo’s place is hands down the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Even during the hot summer, the apartment stayed wonderfully cool and airy—thanks to its high ceilings, second-floor location, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The space is incredibly spacious and filled with lush greenery, which made me feel genuinely happy and at home. Also, since most buildings in Berlin don’t have elevators, being on the second floor was a huge plus—especially with heavy luggage. Mateo himself is one of the kindest and most responsible hosts I’ve ever met. You can’t help but admire his taste in decor and his genuine passion for the space he’s created. I’ll definitely book again next time I’m in Berlin!

Sometimes you come across a place that truly encapsulates the notion of home away from home. Matteo’s hospitality was unparalleled, and his home? Unmatched. From the movement I arrived in Berlin, I was met with a flurry of descriptive WhatsApp messages recommending sites to see in Berlin, and suggestions for THAT evening. It was like I had my own personal concierge right at the tip of my screen. Once arriving in Matteo’s home I was struck by the attention to detail paired with sophisticated taste. I felt like I had walked into my own version of Berlin Architectural Digest, elevated, modern, and boasting of taste. If you have any sort of style, or desire to be inspired by Berlin high life. Matteo’s spot is the place to be.

Boxi 13 is a lovely apartment in Friedrichshain (one of the nicest areas in east Berlin) and the place feels really cozy and is also very spacious. You are really well connected because you have the U5 subway right next door and the U1 (that brings you from east to west) within a 10 minutes walk. Matteo is also a great host and will make your stay in Berlin worth it. He knows a lot of hidden hems that he recommended and, on top of that, he is a very interesting person full of stories. If you happen to be in Berlin and are looking for a wonderful and cozy place to stay, this is where you have to come.
