I recently stayed at Neon Wood Frankfurter Tor and had a great experience. The property is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home, whether you’re staying for a short visit or a longer period. What really stood out, however, was the team at the front desk. Davide and Miguel were consistently friendly, professional, and always available to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude and willingness to assist made a real difference and added a personal touch to the stay. Overall, I would happily recommend Neon Wood Frankfurter Tor to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in Berlin, especially thanks to the excellent service provided by Davide and Miguel. Their kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed.

Awesome Student Wohnungen , fabulous service, specially the lobby with large study area , meeting room and a gaming area with PS5 . They have pool area and few table tennis tables too for a quick sport with friends. You can invite friends over and enjoy a game or movie with large LED screens and comfy sofas The thing i like the most is dedicated reception which opens in office hours and the guys there are super helpful. They offer to help you with anything that you need for your stay. They also provide room cleaning service but for a fee which i personally find reasonably priced. A dedicated washing area with ample of washer and dryer which works great but again you need to pay for it separately again not a big deal when you get it convenient for your use. Well what to say more.. the walkways are always super clean, there a small garden as well.. for those lazy summer times Not to forget this facility also boasts a fitness studio as well , with proper high quality equipment including rowing machines. The house master is super friendly and always be there for you even for a tiny winy thingy. I like the big guy who manages the facility specifically the security part. He’s really cool helpful and dependable. Receptionists changes I guess twice a year but all are very good in their respective areas. Previously Bali was there and he was a gem of a guy. Its walkable distance from U5 Frankfurter Tor , and M10 and M13 Tramlines Honestly living here with my partner for 2 years was super cool. Also to mention the rent , I think the kind of services they offer and the quality.. considering the housing crisis in Berlin the rent isn’t bad ( at least for a couple like us..) €1200 /month with yearly contract. The only downside is you get a small studio apartment in that price point, but the apartment is worth it, newly built super clean, managed and the best part, street facing floor to sealing windows. Perfect for sip a coffee looking out , watching all sorts of people go by and contemplating about life. I know its a review not literature but its true. So final verdict.. if you are a student in Berlin you should definitely consider it as an option or I say an opportunity to live on the coolest street -Warschauer Straße, of the coolest city ( Berlin) in the coolest district( Friedrichshain) walkable distance from the one and only Berghain Club. I don’t have much photos in my phone right now but i‘ll take some and post

I have lived here for three years. My overall experience has been very mixed: the first two years were extremely frustrating, but this past year has been a major improvement thanks to two newer staff members who have made a real difference. For the first two years, the experience was honestly terrible. It was marked by poor management, lack of accountability, and a general feeling that no one really cared. Staff often came across as rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help with even basic issues. Problems were left unresolved for far too long, and it often felt like residents were expected to simply live with them. One clear example is the cable machine in the gym, which broke near the end of my first year and was not fixed for almost two years. A major issue here has also been the behavior of many tenants. There is a real lack of respect for other people and for shared spaces. Things in the common areas get damaged regularly, including pool cues, ping pong paddles, chairs, and other furniture. People leave trash bags in the hallways instead of taking them out properly. In general, the condition of the lobby, hallways, gym, and other common spaces is too often affected by tenants who show very little consideration for the people living around them. Even basic hygiene seems to be too much to ask from some residents, which makes shared spaces unpleasant for everyone else. Another issue has been waste management. After the trash shed burned down, the dumpsters were placed in the middle of the backyard and are often overflowing, which leaves garbage scattered around the property and sometimes even out by the street. To be fair, that may partly be related to the city’s garbage pickup, but as a resident, the result is still the same: it looks bad, smells bad, and lowers the overall quality of living here. I also switched apartments three times while living here, and during the first two years there seemed to be very little care taken when apartments were handed over from one tenant to the next. Damage and cleanliness were not handled seriously enough. Because of that, I strongly recommend documenting everything when you move in, including the walls, floors, furniture, and any existing damage. They are starting to take this more seriously now, but for a long time they did not. The laundromat was another constant frustration during the first two years. The machines were breaking all the time, which made a basic part of daily life far more difficult than it should have been. Since the new staff arrived, the laundromat has been overhauled and the situation is much better. That said, I want to give real credit where it is due. This past year, two new staff members have completely changed what it feels like to live here. They are approachable, helpful, professional, and easy to talk to, and they seem to genuinely care. Repairs to furniture and equipment now get handled much faster, communication is better, and the overall experience has improved significantly because of them. If something takes a long time to be fixed now, it seems to be due to delays from a third party, not because the current staff are ignoring the issue or failing to act. I really cannot emphasize enough how much better the experience has been since they arrived. Overall, the biggest problem here is not the current staff; it is the lack of respect shown by many of the tenants. Much of the damage and many of the ongoing problems in the shared spaces are caused by the people living here. The two staff members who are there now are doing an excellent job improving a place that was, for a long time, very badly managed. The two new staff members get 5 stars.

I loved living here, it’s a shame that after your 6 month stay you can’t extend your contract in the same building. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the parties were amazing and overall the atmosphere was wonderful. I would relive my experience there in a heart beat. Taking away the one star because of not being able to extend the contract and the deducted deposit fees for small things but massive prices. I’ve added random photos I took of the building and the ubahn station nearby during my stay.

So the service was very bad when i got here 2 years ago. But now since the new guys came after the people that worked here were fired i assume. It has been much better and the new staff are very helpful and nice:)
