Cozy 1-bedroom flat near the Gumpendorfer Straße train station, vienna

Good location. Charming birdcage elevator. Rooms spacious and well equipped. BUT NO AIR CONDITIONING. If there is any chance of warm weather, you will be uncomfortable. I had to leave for that reason. I felt one should be warned of this before you book and arrive. Also, a somewhat stale smell in the lobby and common areas. Multiple keys … a bit antiquated, I thought.

We stayed at 6 Rooms in Vienna as a group of four and booked two apartments that were right next to each other. They were very clean, not extremely well-equipped but had all the essentials. The towels smelled fresh, which I appreciated since I’ve had issues with musty towels in other places before. The host was very kind and accommodating. The area can be a bit noisy, but if you’re not sensitive to that it’s perfectly fine, I slept without any problems. The pillows were a bit thin, but you can easily fix that by using one from the sofa underneath it. Overall, a very good experience.

The apartment has everything, clean and comfortable enough. Staff there have been very helpful and friendly. The apartment feels okay in hot days. Definitely not as hot as I read from some reviews. Location is fabulously, with walking distance to main attractions and shops, and easy access to subway stations. Quite a few nice restaurants around, among them Mama Liu & Sons was our favorite!

Excellent accomodation. Lovely large apartment with everything you need for your stay. Fantastic location with all major attractions nearby.

Lovely apartments, conveniently located close to the city center. I stayed in different apartments over time, they were all very clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Check in process was smooth and the staff was very helpful when we asked for support. The area is also very lively, with many shops and restaurants close by.
