Parks and Picnics: You can enjoy the most breathtaking views of the Mid Wales landscape, or enjoy nature walks or take a ride through the Cambrian Mountains on a steam-operated narrow gauge Heritage Railway called the Vale of Rheidol, all within easy reach from town.

Shopping: For all your shopping needs you could try out Market Hall or Parc y Llyn Retail Park Shopping Malls, or head to the seafront for independent shopping.

Restaurants, Cafes and Bars: Aberystwyth offers a wide selection of traditional as well as modern pubs & bars such as the Cambrian, Bar 46, Court Royale, Kane’s Bar and Pier Pavilion, only to name a few. There are a few nightclubs in town like Pier Pressure and Why Not that host regular student nights. The best way to get around Aber is by buses and tram. You can use these modes of transport to access all corners of the city. Getting around the city on buses and trams is also a great way to save money.
