I lived in this student residence for three years, and I find it unacceptable that problems are handled so slowly. Whether it's a broken stovetop, a broken bed drawer, or anything else, you often have to wait three to four months before anything is done. On the other hand, if the rent is even a few cents short (10 cents, for example), a registered letter is sent immediately. And if you're hoping to get your deposit back easily, run away: this is definitely not the place to expect fair or quick service.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Mr. Roussier, the manager at the student residence, and I would like to emphasize his professionalism and availability. He was always responsive and attentive to my requests, offering solutions tailored to each situation. Thanks to him, everything went very smoothly, and I felt confident throughout my experience. We rented a room for our daughter for three years. We spent three years struggling to get the agency to fulfill its commitments. We spoke to many different people by phone and email, all of whom promised to resolve the issues we raised (which were mostly simple things: providing missing kitchen items, changing rooms because the one we had rented was in a corner with a wall partially blocking the view, resulting in little natural light, etc.), but nothing was ever done. My feeling is that we were robbed of a significant amount of money for a service that was advertised but never delivered (the reception was always closed, the common rooms were gloomy and cheaply furnished). If we had been able to move our daughter (who hated the experience) to another rental, we would have. Unfortunately, the housing shortage in the Lyon region is so severe that finding alternatives is extremely difficult and complicated in such a short time. Clearly, higher education is a lucrative market, just like any other, for those looking for a "good time." I sense a rather pervasive cynicism from the rental company and enormous frustration on our part. I never comment on Google reviews, but I couldn't let this go. My advice: if you have other options besides this residence, look into them. They might be better and cheaper.

Since Alexandre Roussier took over the residence, all the problems that preceded his arrival have been resolved. Nothing like the previous managers! Whether it's the washing machines, which are now properly maintained and no longer have any issues, the elevator, which is repaired in less than 24 hours every time, or the individual problems... We hope to keep him for as long as possible!

I highly recommend this residence thanks to Mr. Alexandre Roussier, who is an exceptional manager. He was attentive and transparent with every problem I encountered. He is always available, responsive, and very professional. What makes the difference is his genuine commitment to the comfort and satisfaction of the residents.
