Apartment in Rue Alexandre Boutin, Villeurbanne for 20 m², villeurbanne

very nice and calm.

My son stayed in this residence for a year (from September 2025 to June 2026). The apartment was very nice, and the location was great. Barbara, the manager, is excellent, attentive, very available, and kind. Highly recommended.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have! Avoid at all costs!! The residence is very poorly maintained. It took me two months to get someone to come and deal with the cockroaches. The foundations are badly built and the water doesn't drain. The garbage piles up, and the common areas aren't cleaned. In short, it's a disaster. They try to withhold things from your security deposit to rip you off! Don't come here, and if you have no other choice, I won't let you get away with it.

Very nice apartments in an area about 1 km from the Part-Dieu train station, accessible on foot or by metro, which is about 300 meters away. The property is tidy, clean, and well-maintained, and the prices are very affordable. The reception desk, which operates at extremely limited hours (sometimes 3-4 hours in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, alternating with the reception at the other property around the corner in the same neighborhood), is undoubtedly the property's real weakness. I had checkout at 11:00 AM and the return bus around 3:00 PM. They held my bags until closing time (noon), and then I basically had to wander around for about 3 hours with my backpack and bags, unable to do anything else. It's a shame; it wouldn't take much to provide more efficient and certainly useful service for the property's guests.

Avoid at all costs. Partial refund of the security deposit without valid reason (the person who conducted the inventory assured me that I wouldn't be charged anything). Dirty stairwell (cigarette butts, spilled soda), poorly constructed building (uneven floors, water pools in the shower and sinks). The staff are unfriendly, don't respond to emails, and can't even handle administrative tasks properly (lost documents, etc.). To top it all off, the vacuum cleaners available for tenants are never in working order.
