I've been living at the Languedoc residence for two years now, and I recently moved into a one-bedroom apartment with my girlfriend. It's a clean, well-maintained residence. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious, whether for one or two people. I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it. Attached are three photos of the one-bedroom apartment I'm currently living in and one of the studio apartment I lived in previously.

The apartments are fairly well laid out, although there isn't much storage space. The washing machines on the ground floor are often out of order (usually not all at once, thankfully). The intersection downstairs is quite noisy.

I just moved in here for my master's degree and it's great. The building as a whole is very clean, spacious, very inexpensive, the walls are well insulated, and the apartment is attractive from the outside and quite well located (10 minutes from the metro and a large number of buses in VilleJean, and 15 minutes by bus from Emmaus and a Leclerc supermarket with bus line 14).

First of all, a big thank you to the maintenance money, a lovely, sunny lady who takes the time to chat with the residents during the EDL check-in/check-out and is always full of good advice! The studios are really great, with little noise from the neighbors thanks to the good insulation, the furniture is in good condition, and the common areas are clean and bright. It really feels like you're walking into an aparthotel or a B&B! The only downside is the ventilation system, which is way too loud; it makes a roaring noise and lets in too much cold air. As a result, the temperature inside dropped to 14-15°C this winter, and even with the heating on, it was warmer in the hallway... but with a bit of activity and/or a few layers of blankets, it was perfectly bearable.

I've lived in the Languedoc residence for three years now, and having a good understanding of the CROUS student housing stock in Villejean, this is one of the best residences available! BUILDING: The residence has 200 units, primarily studios (T1 and T1bis) and a few one-bedroom apartments (T2). The studios are all over 20 square meters. The building has eight floors with two elevators, an underground parking garage, a study room, a laundry room, and a bicycle storage area. APARTMENTS: The apartments are all furnished with a single bed, a bookcase, and two chairs. The kitchenette includes a sink, an electric stovetop, and a refrigerator. A countertop also serves as a desk. The apartments face east or west and offer privacy. Some apartments are adapted for people with reduced mobility. The sound and thermal insulation is quite good. Heating is centralized. All apartments have intercoms. Studio rents do not exceed €400 and all charges are included (water, electricity, internet, maintenance, security, elevator, etc.). SECURITY: Despite its proximity to the priority neighborhood of Kennedy, the residence is quite safe. Its location on the edge of the neighborhood contributes to this. All entrances are secured with key fobs. The lobby is under video surveillance, and security guards are on duty in a booth opposite the entrance every day of the year from 10 PM to 7 AM. STAFF: In addition to the security guards, the residence employs a maintenance worker and a caretaker. A student representative is also available to guide residents and organize events and activities. LOCATION: The residence is located in a fairly vibrant neighborhood with a shopping center just 100 meters away. It comprises various local shops, including a Carrefour Market open until 10 pm and until 1 pm on Sundays, a pharmacy, a bakery, a tobacconist, and several street food restaurants. The McDonald's located right next to the residence is open 24/7. The nearest metro stations are Villejean and Kennedy, both just under a 10-minute walk away. The city center is less than 10 minutes away by bike. A market is held next to the residence on Friday mornings. The Parc du Berry, located right next to the residence, also boasts excellent sports facilities. The future Villejean swimming pool, currently under construction directly opposite the residence, is expected to open in 2026.
