Update regarding my end-of-lease situation with Twenty Campus Cergy. After several months of waiting and multiple follow-ups, my security deposit was finally returned on 06/03/2026. While I acknowledge receiving the deposit itself, the legally required late penalty was not included. Under French regulations, when a deposit is returned late, the landlord owes a penalty of 10% of the monthly rent per month of delay. Based on the delay in my case, this amounts to 79€, which is still outstanding. To be clear: I have not forgotten about this amount and I am still expecting it to be paid. It is disappointing that such a straightforward obligation still requires additional reminders after nearly three months of delay. I hope this remaining issue will be resolved promptly.

Stayed here for a year and left for another student residence because it was so terrible. My new apartment proved that the problems I faced here were not common and its just a case of NO management. Biggest issue for me (apart from it taking more than half a year to get your deposit back) was the NOISE😇 People living here have no respect for neighbours and they hold parties in their room or in the porch downstairs till 3-4AM in the morning. You think it would change after so many years and so many complaints but NO. I reflected this issue to the management for more than HALF A YEAR, sending them messages everyday and they literally did nothing. This was 2022-2023! And today, August 2024, people are still complaining about the problem. So AVOID if you don’t want to be awakened by shrieking and howling in the middle of the night. The problem doesn’t stop during exam weeks too hahah so I’m super curious where these people are coming from. (Attached: A video taken in the middle of the night from my room. It literally sounds like someone has set up a restaurant in my room😇)

I lived here for a year, if you are the student nearby it’s definitely idea place to stay! You have free breakfast, gym and study room! And roof you can hold party. As for the check in and check out, I recommend Loïc!!!! Very nice and patient, when I was about to check out, he can explain everything that you have some questions or you are afraid of charge the deposit. Just ask him!!! He is the best!!

During the summer, I had a lot of issues when checking in, but no one replied to my messages, or if they did, it took a very long time. When I went down to the office, I almost never saw anyone. And also the problem with the deposit, you can read from many other reviews. I feel like they're oppressing because we are students.

I do not usually leave reviews but this is really a one of a kind experience that I have to warn others about. The apartment and building are not bad and at a great location, but beware as there are only 2 washing machines for the entire new building, and sometimes it takes multiple tries to get your laundry done. And for this they charge you a laundry utilities fee every month apart from your rent. The tenant app is also barely functional and very hard to use. The biggest issue is they take all kind of excuses to not give you your deposit back, and admin is extremely non-responsive. When you leave, anything that is not in brand new condition will be marked as poor condition, and they make you sign and "agree" to the report when you check out. I cleaned as much as possible before I moved out, and I still had more than half of the items on my checkout list as in dissatisfactory condition. I did not have any news regarding my deposit until September, almost 3 months after I moved out. In the end, I only got less than 1/4 of my deposit back, with a grand total of 500+ euros deduction of various cleaning fees for my tiny 18.5m² studio apartment. I do not know anyone who got their full deposit back, and I know some past tenants who have to pay extra on top of their deposit for "damages". For those who want to rent an apartment here, I suggest you weigh the pros and cons and maybe talk to some ex-tenants before making a decision. If you have money to waste, the close proximity to the prefecture station and school might be worth it. Otherwise don’t bother.
