I’ve had a great experience at Unity Place. The front desk team is very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Sheena — she is extremely supportive and professional. She answers all my questions quickly and always follows up. If something needs management’s attention, she immediately contacts the manager and makes sure the issue is handled as soon as possible. She truly cares about helping residents. Highly appreciated!

I’ve been living at Unity Place for about four months, and the team here has made the experience smooth and reliable. Sheenam consistently delivers professional, efficient service and follows through on every request without delay. Her communication is clear, and she handles issues with a level of ownership that genuinely improves day-to-day living. I also want to thank Emma for her support and responsiveness. Both of them contribute to a well-run, resident-focused environment. Unity Place is stronger because of their work.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Despite renewing his lease eight months ago, my son was given only three days’ notice that his building fob was expiring—immediately before Labour Day weekend and the start of university classes. Management then said no replacement was available until Tuesday, failed to confirm how he could access his apartment and parking garage, and did not respond to his follow-up email before closing. He was directed to after-hours assistance that reportedly costs $75 per call. He did not lose or damage his fob; management allowed it to expire. Current tenants should not have to pay to access their own homes because of management’s poor planning and communication.

I chose Unity as my apartment from my second year (now fourth year) is because it is not only really close to Queen’s University, but it also has great utilities, such as a great gym, and a top floor lounge with great views, especially when the sun is setting. The service is so nice and the staff members are awesome. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out Sheenam, she is really nice and friendly, always help you as much as possible. If you see her at the front desk, don’t forget to say hi!

Move-in day was incredibly frustrating. We waited for three hours without any communication about whether the unit was ready, which is unacceptable considering the previous lease ended earlier in August. When we finally got in, the apartment was extremely dirty—we had to mop the floors five times, and they were still pulling up dirt. Furthermore, the room is much smaller and has a completely different layout than what was advertised on the website. At approximately 7' x 8', the space is so cramped that there is no room to adjust the furniture, and you can't even center the chair comfortably at the desk. To make matters worse, there are safety hazards; exposed electrical outlets remained uncovered even after we explicitly reported them. For the premium price they are charging, this is severely overpriced and highly disappointing.
