Cool 2-bedroom apartment near Porto Vecchio, sanremo

The hotel is nice and the apartments are spacious and have a big balcony. They let us check-in way before the check in time which is 5pm (which is quite late) which was quite appreciated. Nice and friendly customer service staff. The apartment kitchen is well equipped and you can easily cook if you want to. The location is great as you can easily walk to the port and have a super market in front of the entrance and the restaurant street within 300m. There are washing machines and dryers in every floor and you pay 5€ per wash and 5€ per dry, including soap which is very convenient. The pool is very nice and ok for kids who know how to swim well. If you have younger children, note that the pool is quite deep so you must watch children carefully. However, this is not a 4-star hotel by any means. They charge you for every little detail. They give you ONE roll of toilet paper for a 5 night stay for 4 people. You then have to buy your toilet paper. They give you 2 pods of dishwashing detergent and then have to buy additional if you want to wash dishes and the clearly mention in the instructions that you must leave the apartment clean and dishes washed. Wifi is very bad as well. It’s good if you want to disconnect or relax but if you need good connection, you cannot depend on the hotel’s wifi. The pool bar only takes cash which is inconvenient since you have to bring cash into the pool. The beds are not the most comfortable. Lastly, they do not change sheets or towels for a 5 night stay. No cleaning at all of the rooms which would be common for a 4 star hotel. You are not allowed to walk on the grass and although there is plenty of green space it is only to look at as you are not allowed near it. There were a lot of lawn cleaning/mowing machines running everyday so it was noisy at times. I do agree with the comments that it is an overpriced and over marketed hotel. But overall it was a nice stay.

Second time at Salina Bay and we really like this place. Clean, modern apartments with great balconies and AC. The pool area is great and it’s easy to find a sunbed. It’s very close to the harbour and a short walk up to the town in the evenings. It’s very easy to park your car and drive away to the beaches and other activities. A supermarket across the road. Great and safe for kids! If you want to go for a run or a walk - the salt ponds offer some nice trails 🙏🏻 If anything - the WiFi is not that good but I guess it could be fixed by the management pretty easily.

Very nice resort with pool and playground for the kids and rooms with everything what you need. Close to the nice beaches, city center and restaurants at the port. Supermarket right ahead the entrance to the resort and a very good bakery 5 min to walk. Would like to come back here again next years…

I left this property with bedbugs, which salina bay refuse to take responsibility for. I reported this twice at reception, with little help or concern other then changing bed sheets. Awful customer service. The hallways are dark in the evenings (no windows) and its difficult to navigate to the light switches. The pool bar is cash only which is frustrating when relaxing around the pool. Definitely not the best experience.

Very nice residence, only a short walk from Porto Vecchio and the marinas. Staff are kind, helpful and welcoming. Apartments are spacious, well equipped with great balcony. Nice pool with bar. Unfortunately they put us in rooms 100m away from a very noisy building site (drills, diggers, chainsaws at 7:30 in the morning) right opposite our balcony. I asked if we could be moved to somewhere that wasn't facing the building site but nothing doing. I guess the building work will end some time in 2024 at which point it will be a really great place
