Room in 216 Rue de Fougères, 35700 Rennes, France, rennes

The Cap Études residence is one of the keys to success for students in preparatory classes right across the street! Clean, quiet, and well-located, the welcome at the residence is also perfect! Cathy Marini is the person who makes this residence pleasant, clean, and secure. We sincerely thank her for her support from the moment we submitted our application, and throughout the two years we stayed: her kindness, thoroughness, and professionalism make this residence a place that fosters success for students! Her presence and welcome, from the initial inventory check to the final inventory check, were excellent! Thank you, Cathy! Truly! Best of luck! And we wish you a wonderful life at Cap Études!

The apartment is very well located, quiet, and clean. It has a gym, table tennis, laundry facilities, a common room, and parking. We were very well looked after for five years. The move-out inspection also went very smoothly. We were asked to restore the apartment to its original condition (clearly stated in the move-in agreement), but this is also out of respect for the next tenant, and if the apartment is regularly maintained, the move-out inspection goes smoothly. The manager was very friendly and available whenever we needed information. We recommend it for students looking for a quiet place to study and security, thanks to the property manager. The only downside is that the thermal insulation isn't very good.

The residence is always perfectly clean, the common areas are very well designed, and the manager, always available and attentive, supports us throughout the year.

Two years in the residence, and let me tell you, in prep school, it's not exactly a party atmosphere! The apartment was only used as a dormitory for me; I left it cleaner than it was at the move-in inspection, and I never even used the pots, pans, or stovetop… And yet, the deposit won't be returned. The reason given is a complete lie, several lies in fact. A wall supposedly has a small stain, and some dishes are said to be rusty, and that's enough to keep the deposit and demand additional money. What blatant dishonesty! Money-grubbers! Dishonest! Run away without hesitation!

I had a good experience at the Cap-Etudes residence, where I lived from 2022 to 2024. The proximity to schools is a real advantage, the facilities are in excellent condition, and the manager is always available to help with anything (from a mail delivery issue to an insect in my apartment). As a keen cook, I slightly damaged the stovetop, but this wasn't held against me during the move-out inspection, which went very smoothly. I was only charged for what I expected: the broken dishes. Overall, a very positive experience!
