Lucette - Private Room (10), pantin

Charming, peaceful stay with real attention to detail. Rooms are stylish, spotless, and feel more like a home than a hotel. Warm, welcoming hosts + great breakfast makes mornings easy. Quiet location but still close to everything you need. Felt like a proper little escape.

We arrive around 6pm but they didn't expert us. I made a reservation and received a confirmation by mail, but it was a total surprise we showed up. After some calls I've got the key, but not before the lady told us the price had gone up with 50rand. At night the power was off for at least 2 hours. We had a family room fotlr 4, but there were 6 plates, only 2 cups, only 1 bowl and no spoons. The chair fell apart. Overall, I would not recommend staying here

My family and I (including a toddler) arrived at the accommodation at 21h30 after a family event in the area, only to be informed that the place is fully booked and there are no rooms available for us to check-into. This is after booking, paying and receiving confirmation. A plan was made to accommodate us elsewhere, which I appreciate given the time of day it was. However, the new accommodation (Bethesda Guest House) was 15 minutes out from where we had initially booked (for a reason), the roads leading there were really quite awful, and the accommodation itself was sub-par. In addition, when we got back from our family event after collecting the key, informing the security guard that we’d be returning later and confirming with him that we’d be back and would need to be let back in, we found ourselves at the gate in the middle of the night in an unknown and poorly lit area, hooting and shouting to be let in for more than 10 minutes. I imagine there was a price difference between the 2 guesthouses that warranted a partial refund, but the whole experience was really so defeating that it didn’t feel worthwhile following this up.

Just past there and saw the view nice.

Great conference room area. The setting up and bringing out of the food after our meeting took too much time though. Perhaps you could set out the tables in such a way that they can be used for meetings and for eating thereafter, as opposed to putting them in rows for the meeting then needing to further come set them up diffently for eating purposes (I hope that makes sense). Mixture of friendly and not so friendly staff. Rooms are of a standard that's not so common in the area. Absolutely beautiful.
