🔴Most Honest Review September 2024🔴 Read carefully before travelling here. And don’t go unless you absolutely have to go somewhere to not sleep on the street. I always stay in cheap hotels but they have all been clean and hygienic. Those other reviews where people are pleasantly surprised, I don’t know how.. it’s hard to be. 1. Even for poor students like myself, I am easy to please. But this place was horrendous and had to leave few days earlier than originally booked. Here’s why:👇 2. Cockroaches in room🪳 3. BED BUGS in room, as well as on kitchen towel they provide and bed. Head feels itchy after this place and seeing bugs on my clothes I wore since then🦗 4. Very unsafe atmosphere around hotel, Roma gypsies beside the hotel with loud music.💃 5. Place is -1000 on hygiene and cleanliness🚫 6. There’s literally nothing to do beside hotel, only a huge graveyard, railway tracks, Roma gypsies and few shops that are nearby are only cemetery related💀 7. Strange people around hotel making you feel unsafe with belongings you carry around👀 8. Didn’t feel safe leaving belongings in room.👀 9. Shower was horrible dirty floor🤌🏻 10. Bedding and towels had stains and holes, but also insects. 11. Just don’t go there honestly, I would recommend nearby City Toulon, gorgeous and wayyyy better accommodation. This Looks like it was made into a “hotel” dormitory style from an old hospital building. 12. Booking non refundable🚫 If you must go, be ready for no AC, braid your hair if you don’t want lice or other bugs, bring disposable cutlery and cups, even being own towel and bedding. Also keep your bags zipped so nothing crawls inside and wash the floors with the mop that comes with the room. ✅Only positive?? Staff was nice and honest ✅Price was cheap ✅Other staying residents seemed nice!

This place had mixed reviews so I was hesitant to stay but didn't have much choice (we initially booked with a hostel but it got cancelled last minute), but I was pleasantly surprised! Our room was clean and tidy, warm, had towels etc. Reception staff were very friendly and even helped us print our flight tickets. It was more of an AirBnB-like situation than a hotel - have to take own rubbish out etc. It also wasn't super central, had to take the train and tram from city centre to get here but no big deal for us. The reception is only open certain hours which did cause a bit of inconvenience for us - couldn't show up later than 8pm to get out keys the first night, for example. But it was really great value, 50 euros per night for a room with two single beds.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we are very happy with it. Rooms are nice and clean (no bed bugs) and specious, we were kinda skeptical when we read the reviews but they are not true, at least not in our case. The neighborhood is nice and quiet (we were facing the backyard). The supply of vending machines were awesome cuz you can buy everything from it. Also the washing machine and dryer were good. There is no a store near by but if you make a little bit of effort and plan your trip correctly it won’t be a problem cuz there are bus and tram stops near by and the traffic is often and fast. Definitely would recommend.

We had no warm water for a day, there were a lot of mosquitos and it was very hot in our room. The location was in a 'bad' area, but close to a tram. The overall experience is not recommended. Not even for poor students like me.

We spent only 1 night but despite all the bad reviews, it was pretty clean. The studio was very spacious and the reception was very kind. Only problem: no AC. I would definitely come back.
