Room in Rue Delandine, Lyon for 98 m² with 6 bedrooms, lyon

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative reviews. I have left the residence after 3 years, and I have enough experience to leave a review. Firstly and the most importantly, the studios are very small and poorly equipped. There is no wardrobe, the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbour sighing, the furniture is clay-assembled, so you cannot put heavy staff on it. The fridge is tiny and there is no freezer compartment doors. Next, there is no option to add a shower curtain and there is only a small mirror in the bathroom, so that you cannot use it in practice. Regarding electricity - there are only few sockets which is impractical for anything, so I had to buy 5 multiprise to at least be able to use a kettle. Regarding the kitchen equipment- you have plates, but you don’t have any electric things including electric kettle. Next, there have recently been water cuts and constant problems with the drying machines. And I confirm that the positive reviews were asked to be written by managers. Another issue for me was the communication with the manager. On the 5th of March (the day of my PhD defense!!), the residence manager phoned me at 8am and was shouting at me accusing me of throwing away some big rubbish. She thought that it was me only because I was supposed to leave in several weeks from thenon, so she phoned me and shouted at me, which I find unacceptable. I still try to believe that it was just her bad day but unfortunately it was important and stressful day for me and this strange useless situation distracted me from important things on the morning of that day. there is also a camera next to the rubbish room which I believe can be used instead of the personal calls. After this, the manager also removed me from the residence WhatsApp chat, and from other negative reviews it seems that she removes everyone whom she wants to. I spoke to other foreigners and they all told that they felt that the manager speaks rude to them, so maybe it is common for foreigners to be treated as if we have nothing important and no job and no general purpose in life but answering calls of the building manager starting from 8am listening about her angry investigation of who left the rubbish. If you are looking for some stay under 6 months not in the summer, it is mb ok, but I would still recommend to choose any other apartment, even colloc but in a normal apartment, not in this chamber without any opportunities to solve housing problems. In winter it gets too cold (35 degrees). In winter, the studio was so cold that I could sometimes see my breath indoors. Personally , I stayed there because it was easier for many administrative purposes (so as not to change “situation domicile” which takes years in France) and because I travelled a lot and had exchange periods in other countries. If you dare to choose this adventurous place, I sincerely wish good luck! Personally, I am extremely happy and relieved to leave this place and wish good luck to everyone who is trying to leave it too!

Worst experience about security deposit I paid 1220euros for deposit and while returning it I just received 910euros. They deducted 310euros from my deposit and the reason given was the apartment was not cleaned, I cleaned it fully and then handed it to landlord but after that she told that it was not up to mark so 140euros would be deducted. In the last while sending the amount they deducted 310euros. Worst experience would not recommend anyone to stay.

I had a three-month stay in a studio. It was fantastic. You have everything you need in the room. The bathroom is very spacious. The environment is very quiet. It is very well located (close to public transportation, ENS and supermarkets), so it's a perfect place for the students. I really enjoyed my stay. Whenever I had a question or problem, they would answer my emails immediately. I highly recommend it.

Campus charged us 300€ for cleaning a 20 square meter room. They never answered questions on time and did not provide any service's. Indifferent and rude staff. Never answer any calls or emails. There was never any internet. I do not recommend anyone to rent rooms from them. No, not just "not recommended" ,I'm WARNING YOU.
