I lived in this student residence from September 2021 to December 2022, and it has ended up being a very comfortable experience. The residence is well connected to the center of Paris, since it is 5 minutes away from the metro, bus, and tram stop of Porte d'Ivry. There is a supermarket, a bakery, and several restaurants in the square next to the residence, which makes everything much easier and practical. The neighborhood is really calm (both Ivry-sur-Seine and the nearby Olympiades and 13th Arrondissement, and being in front of the Bd. Périphérique did not bother me too much: my room was well soundproofed. My room was quite big and sunlight entered all day round, which was the best thing about it for me! The building is very new (I was the first person to live in my room), so the furniture, walls, windows, heating, electronic appliances... must still be in really good condition in all rooms. I had a private kitchen and bathroom inside the room, both of them with everything I needed. The common facilities include a kitchen/living room laundry room, a gym, and a study room, as well as a semi-outdoor patio where we can also hang out. On the first months that I stayed in the residence (after it had just opened), there were many problems with the heating and electricity (which in winter made it especially uncomfortable). However, the managers took care of it all, and since February I have had no further inconveniences in my room. The elevators get stuck sometimes, which should be improved. The managers are very attentive and very helpful, I am super grateful for that! For foreign students that have just arrived to France, it is really helpful that they speak French, English and Spanish perfectly. They are there on the weekdays and reachable by phone. It is true that it would be nice to have some personnel on the weekends in case there was any emergency.

I had a very positive experience during my 6 month-long stay at the residence. The property is clean, safe and well-maintained. The management team, especially Valentin have been extremely nice and helpful, and were always open for queries or to offer assistance. I found the location to be very convenient as well, with an Intermarche and several fast food restaurants less than 100m away. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free, peaceful living experience.

Not sure how they can call themselves an eco friendly building when they have two separate elevator systems, so when you want to call one elevator, to speed things up most people call both. And this wastes both energy and time. Also the rate I am paying is around 1800 euros a month, which is absolutely ridiculous given the size of our rooms and the location. We’re not even in Paris. The worst thing that’s happened here is that the laundry room closed for a week plus because SEWAGE leaked in it. So we had nowhere to wash our clothes. We had to go to external laundromats. And they didn’t provide any compensation for this. The lobby and basement also smelled like sewage for a while because of this.

I lived in this dorm from September 2021 to February 2022 and I am gonna list all the positive and all the negative things about this dorm objectively. Positives: -My room was very nice, equipped with a microwave, good stove and very well ventilated. -The gym was fantastic and very well equipped along with a very comfy playing room next to it. -The common area has a projector and lots of chairs. Also equipped with an oven and a microwave and several facilities which makes it a partying heaven. -Good website for paying rent and sending requests. Negatives: -Freezing cold: the temperature in the room was unacceptably low (usually 18 degrees) with the heating system going out of service every week. One week in January the heating was completely shut down and the dorm accused the tenants of faking it! I had to buy a temperature sensor just to prove them wrong (temperature between 14-16) . Most of us got sick and it was inhumane to stay in the room. After two weeks they gave me an electric heater then I needed to pay so much electricity for using it. Later, they refused to reimburse the cost back although it was their fault. -The management: the mangers are inconsistent; sometime they are nice and sometimes they just ignore you. They never come on time when you have an appointment (usually an hour later) and just pretend as if nothing happened without giving any proper apology. -Accessabilty: the room is accessed with a card which means that if you step out of the room while forgetting the card inside, you are locked out. I was locked out without money, phone, Id or even decent clothing on a weekend for two days because I forgot my key inside then I had to live like a homeless person. (Horror experience) There should be at least someone who let you in on weekends even for a fine. - Nearly every weekend the internet went down and from time to time there was an electricity outage. The dorm was very expensive for the poor services and inconvenience I faced. I cannot recommend this dorm unless there was not any other option.

Like every new property it had its teething problems at first but everything is fairly well organised after almost a year of the buildings inauguration. Its a decent place for a short stay (a few months maybe). Its a little overpriced considering you can get a nice spot within Paris which would feel more like home by paying just a little extra.
