Apartment in Rue du Maréchal Joffre, Colombes for 20 m², colombes

I have stayed here around 6 months. Firstly, you need to know that the rooms that are proposed as "available" could be changed rapidly. Always consider a second option. Secondly, When you make a contract they come to your room and take picture of walls, tables, bathroom, kitchen and blanket in general but when your contract is over they come again and take pictures of everything in details. They do not provide you with a sufficient information about this situation. In my private room they even controlled underneath of the sink of the kitchen whether there is any water leaks or not. They took out the bed sheet of the bed and controlled inside of it. But they do not do it in the beginning. So be careful when they come to your room for taking pictures. Even though, I have cleaned the room for two days, they can easily find very small things and deduct a "cleaning fee" from your deposit. Another thing is that, you have to have your own electricity which is a totally bureaucracy while opening or closing the contract. You have to have a RIB account which forces you to open a French bank account that took for me almost one month. Last but not least, most importantly, I had no French guarantor so they had two times the rent which equaled around 1500 Euros. At the end with the cleaning fee and a late notice of 15 days was given as a reason for a deduction of almost 400 Euros from my deposit. Although there was a pandemic and I had informed them with my e-mails and was told that they will inform their upper management to reimburse the deduction . they didn't much care about this request and it has been now six months that I am waiting my reimbursement back and they are not responding any e-mails after they are done with you. This is why I am giving one star for this place.

I've stayed here for 8 months during the period of my MBA program. Overall, it's good living experience. The apartment managers are nice, the environment is comfortable and quiet. Thanks for apartment manager Ms. Rouwayda's help, I saved most of my deposit fee and efforts when I moved out of here. If you follow the apartment's rule, she will really treat you well. Just kind reminders for future tenants: 1. There's noise issue for the rooms facing the entertainment room because some students like to have party until midnight while talking loudly in the courtyard. There's no rule to forbid this situation. 2. Keeping the room and the wall clean and removing the water incrustant in the bathroom regularly can save lots of efforts when you move out of the apartment. 3. When you move in the apartment, take pictures of all the details and record it in the apartment manager's document. So when you move out, there will be less controversy.

I've been staying at this place for more then a year and so far everything is going well for me. While looking for a place to stay for my studies the reception was very nice, welcoming and understanding. As well Mr. Julien Loïc helped me very much when I had a repair to do in my room and his explainations where very clear.

I had a very good experience at Cardinal Azimut. They have welcome parties and other activities available. I warmly thank Cardinal Azimut for being there; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to continue my studies, as I come from the French overseas territories.
