University Village Apartments On Colvin, syracuse-ny

I was disappointed with my experience here, throughout my lease, many major issues persisted. The facilities were outdated, the dryer remained broken, and the AC never worked properly, causing extreme temperature differences between rooms. To make matters worse, maintenance requests were rarely handled in a timely manner, often taking weeks to get a response. There were also the unfair charges after move-out. I was sent a bill for cleaning, which does not align with the condition of the apartment when I first arrived. On my move-in day, the place was dirty with sticky floors, sticky tabletop, mold in the kitchen, and broken windows in both the living room and bedroom. I would not recommend this place given the lack of upkeep and management's handling of the move-out billing.

Terrible experience from move-in to move-out. The unit had no AC for the first 2 weeks, no hot water, broken window screens, and a broken fan. The floors were moldy and clearly not professionally cleaned — when I mentioned this to the manager, she said she did the cleaning herself, which explains a lot. Maintenance is a joke. Requests go ignored for over a month, and staff will cancel your work orders without telling you. Despite none of these issues being resolved, a mandatory cleaning fee was still charged at the end. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

writing this late - but UV was a great place to live for two years. Kristin and Melissa are the best property managers. really nice people and always helpful. the place itself is very comfortable- the rooms have a lot of space and it does feel like a solid community. highly recommend - i think even now it is a steal compared to other syracuse apartments.

My experience at UV IS amazing. All of the workers are great, and I love my apartment. Grace Franklin is the best ever. She is always ready to answer my questions and help me when I get locked out. She also helped me figure out where my missing package was! She is always willing to help and support me in anyway!

I have lived in this apartment complex for all four years of college, and it’s been a great experience. The environment is very nice, the community feels safe and welcoming, and everything has been well-maintained while I have been here. I especially want to recognize Cristal, she has been the heart of this place, she is always friendly, helpful, and incredibly dependable at any time of day. The work that she’s done along with her positive energy made living here even better experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would definitely recommend this complex to others.
