I had an excellent experience here. The location is perfect for UF students since it's very close to campus, making everything much more convenient. The housing was amazing—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. Since I’m from another city, moving here could have been overwhelming, but they made the entire arrival process so easy. They were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with anything I needed. I highly recommend this place to any student looking for a clean, comfortable home with an outstanding staff.

I've had a great experience living in these apartments near UF. The location is very convenient, and one of the best things is that transportation is never a problem. The bus stop is right in front of the complex, making it easy to get to campus without worrying about driving or parking. The community is comfortable, well-maintained, and a great option for students looking for convenience and easy access to UF. I would definitely recommend living here!

If I could give 0 stars, I would.My experience at University Commons has been extremely frustrating from start to finish. Communication from management has been inconsistent, and getting clear answers about important issues has often felt impossible. One of the biggest issues has been billing and utility charges. I have had to question charges on my account because the billing did not make sense based on how utilities had been handled previously. Instead of receiving straightforward explanations, I was left confused and trying to figure out why I was being charged for certain months. The way my roommate’s eviction situation was handled also created unnecessary stress and confusion. Situations that should have been communicated clearly ended up becoming much more difficult because of the lack of transparency and follow-up. Residents are notified about things like inspections, but in my experience there has been a lack of communication when plans change. Being told inspections would occur and then having no one show up without any follow-up is just one example.What has been most disappointing is dealing with apartment-related stress during a personal emergency. I unexpectedly went into preterm labor and delivered my son at 23 weeks. While my newborn was fighting for his life in the NICU and I remained hospitalized, I still had to worry about apartment issues and whether there would be any flexibility or understanding regarding my circumstances. A home should be a place that reduces stress, not adds to it. Between the billing concerns, poor communication, lack of transparency, and overall handling of resident issues, I cannot recommend University Commons to future residents.
