University Court, davis-ca

Nice location, right next to UC Davis campus and Trader Joe’s! The apartment itself is spacious and I really enjoy the study rooms for late night study sessions. The gym is also very nice and often quiet, perfect for a workout. Love being a resident here!

University court is a nice apartment. Maintenance came right on time and fixed what needed to be fixed really quickly. They provide snacks from time to time at the office for the residents. Right next to Trader Joes, and so many other stores too. The apartment is perfect to get to your classes easily. I dislike the stove and the draining system though. It’s ok for an apartment, it is probably good for a place to stay during college, but not to live forever.

pros: community manager alizae is super helpful and responsive whenever i need help next to shopping plaza + trader joe’s (takes ebt) bus stop B (mu) and C (silo) right outside close to campus (can walk or bike during good weather) cozy enough space to share a room with another person cons: packaging system can be a bit of a hassle when delivered to the wrong building or when it’s not properly registered in the package concierge lockers i’d say south building has an advantage to living at ucourt being closer to the main office and package lockers + small gym and pool, and especially with the elevator in the main building that connects to the south building (living with chronic pain and mobility issues makes it difficult to go up three flights of stairs on the north side along with being all the way at the end of the apartments so definitely would’ve love being on the ground floor to accommodate for that) north building gate has a 50/50 chance of working or not 25% chance that the gate sensor that allows you inside will be broken kitchen is small, only one person can be in there at a time and maybe two if you’re both really well coordinated two bed w/ one bath set up can be a bit of a problem at times too ac unit only in living room area there’s been an issue with cockroaches too now but a bug bomb/spray does help

Very nice and clean apartments. Welcoming staff and a lot of amenities including a pool, gym, and outdoor patio and grill. Super close to Trader Joe’s and campus.

I do not normally review places that give me a hard time. Normally feel it is a waste of time. But I don't want someone to make the same mistake that I did by living here. DO NOT live here unless you want to end up overpaying for rent and getting dollars sucked out of your pocket when you move out. They fail to mention that parking is an additional 40 dollars a month, you are responsible for services, and that is all on top of rent. After everything, I was paying about 1500 when rent was only 1350. If you run AC it will turn into 1600-1700/month in a hurry (you are also responsible for PGE). Washing and drying is 5 dollars for a half of a load (if you do a full load your clothes will still be sopping). In addition, they will take every cent of your security deposit (and ask for more) even if you spend hours cleaning and prepping it for move out. They charged over 500 dollar for cleaning and painting when the apartment was spotless when we left (no more than 4 sqft of painting, and nothing more than a wipe-down of surfaces was necessary). Currently working on trying and getting some of our deposit back. It's funny because there are signs all around the complex say they are running low on units... lies. And they are offering people 2 months of free rent to refer them to a friend.... wonder why!!. Makes sense why they are pulling so much out of everyones security deposit (yes this happens to everyone, read other reviews). Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else!
