I previously put a review of every problem since I moved in, including my room being absolutely disgusting the day I moved in. After that whole review, the new management called me to offer $20 credit to remove the review since half of my review was before she got there, and she was new and needed time to get everything right. She proceeded to have an attitude when I said no because $20 was not enough since I went over a week without hot water. Here is an updated review of issues since new management, as of January 2026: 1. Our hot water heater went out for an entire week, and when management finally came to fix it, all they had to do was "reset it," in which it broke for another half week, and they did the same thing. I talked management to see about getting compensation, and they said no. I left a long review, and she called back to offer $20 credit to get it removed, and when I told her no because I went over a week without hot water and it wasn’t enough, she proceeded to say I was wrong and caught an attitude. 2. The grass is extremely overgrown, and the fire hydrant is completely blocked, and it has been non-stop leaking into the parking spaces since before I moved in back in June 2025. 3. One of the maintenance rooms in my breezeway has an alarm that has been going off for 2 or 3 months now. It is not a problem when you have some noise going, but when you are trying to sleep or it is quiet, you can constantly hear it. The door was unlocked and opened for the longest, and their solution was to lock it and close the door, but you can still hear the alarm no matter what. 4. Our AC has been out since February 20th, 2026, and no one has come to fix it yet. This would not have been a problem if it was still cold, but it has been heating up for a while, and I cannot even stay in my own apartment with the heat. They claim that it needed a part and they share one maintenance worker between University Crossing and The Hill Apartments, but being without air conditioning for 59 days is beyond ridiculous. I have already turned in my letter for my lease termination because I refuse to continuously pay for a place I cannot stay at anymore without constant issues. These apartments, no matter how many times they change management, are horrible and they will come up with any excuse to try to make themselves look good. It’s code violation after code violation here. Google doesn’t allow me to put a video of the alarm, only photos.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to recognize Tonya for the excellent customer service she provides. From the very beginning, she has been personable, professional, and caring. She takes the time to get to know the residents, remembers names, and even remembers details about what’s going on in their lives, which makes every interaction feel personal rather than transactional. Whenever I’ve had questions or concerns, Tonya was approachable and direct. She communicates clearly and lays out available options so residents know what to expect. I appreciate the time and effort she puts into helping residents and making herself available when needed.

Tonya was super nice! She was very helpful with me and my daughter explaining how student housing works! University Crossing staff alone were welcoming! Vee did our tour and she was a 10/10. We would definitely be leasing here for her fall semester at CSU.

So since the new owners has taken over all issue have been address and a lot of changes good have been made. Tonya in the office is amazing she communicated the transition of ownership. When issues arrive, she makes sure they are fixed in a timely matter.

I really appreciate the support and kindness I’ve received from Ms. T, especially during all the recent construction and changes around the property. With the roof work, furniture updates, and new faces around, things can feel a little overwhelming at times, but it has helped a lot to have someone familiar who is kind, approachable, and ready to help with a smile.
