For anyone looking to live in walking distance to campus, you’d be much better off somewhere else. The facility is not kept up with at all in comparison to other complexes. The trash chutes are overflowing, the pool was green for the first month and a half after move-in, the elevators are constantly broken, and the top level of the parking garage has been roped off for months with caution tape due to an issue they have not properly informed the residents about. I and all three of my other roommates are looking to move to a different place next year! The pictures I’ve provided have been taken from my first semester here, and I’ve still got another semester to go. Visitor parking is also $3 per hour/$20 a day, so keep that in mind if you ever want any overnight guests. The actual apartments themselves aren’t terrible, but many things were broken upon move in and had to be fixed by maintenance. My roommates and I have been touring other apartment units recently for next school year, and we’ve found that you can definitely get much better for much less only a few minutes down the road! The only positives are the distance from campus and the front desk staff, who are absolutely spectacular and attentive! Unfortunately these negatives outweigh the positives, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone until these problems get resolved.

As a previous resident, I do not miss living here. The apartments are infested with mold to the point that my cat is still on immunosuppressants after living here. Right before we moved out, the water heater broke, causing a leak in the kitchen/dining room. The water heater closet was covered in mold, which they just wiped off with a rag. Additionally, a package of mine ended up in the leasing office a week after I moved. I went to pick it up, and I was told any packages of residents that have moved out were returned to sender... I would believe that, but the student office manager was wearing my crewneck that was custom-ordered from Etsy.

Humongous shoutout to Kiana in the leasing office!!! When a package delivery man left my stuff across the campus while I was at work, she went above and beyond to retrieve it and keep it safe in the office for me to pick up the next day. She and all the other office staff I’ve interacted with have been so kind, and have made my decision to live at UCROSS the last two years worthwhile. Thanks Kiana!!

I have lived here for about a year now and I have nothing but fantastic experiences. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to move into apartments near Unc Charlotte.

I’ve been living at University Crossings while attending school, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. The location is super convenient for getting to campus, and the apartments are nice and well-kept. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. The people in the office are seriously so friendly and helpful. Whether I’ve had questions about my lease, packages, or just needed help with something random, they’ve always been super chill and quick to respond. Also, the maintenance team is on it. Anytime I’ve put in a request, they’ve showed up fast and got things fixed right away. It’s nice not having to wait days for stuff to get taken care of — they actually stay on top of everything. Overall, it’s been a smooth and stress-free place to live while in school. It feels safe, it’s quiet enough to focus when I need to, but still has a good community vibe. Definitely recommend it if you’re a student looking for a solid apartment close to campus!
