Everything was constantly broken. Washing machine (x2), dish washer, AC, heating. The response was usually quick but there were several times it took multiple visits for them to actually fix what was wrong because they thought it was user error. It’s cheap, so it’s kind of “you get what you pay for”. The gym was nice, and it being furnished made it easy to move into. Wouldn’t recommend living here if you can afford other options.

We really enjoyed everyday life in University Commons. The swimming pool is great, the whole living environment is amazing too, as u can tell from pictures. By the way, the staff are really nice and friendly to my whole family. This is a peaceful and lovely community.

If I could give 0 stars I would, honestly this place is a complete scam. My boyfriend currently lives here as a student and firstly the apartment itself is definitely outdated and falling apart. Secondly he receives a notice telling him on a Monday that he and everyone else has to be moved out by Friday or they’ll receive a $2,000 fine! You could’ve gave a week or two notice that is completely unprofessional. Not only that, the day before check out time everyone is in the process of moving out including us. Keep in mind there are families, friends, etc all here helping the tenants move out and they have the audacity to call the towing company and try to tow everyone without a parking pass. This was obviously planned for more money, what the hell.

This has got to be the worst place you can possibly lived. 1-they are infected with bugs. If you stay on the lower level you will get bugs in your apartment 2-Sarah could not care less about this apartment. She does not listen to residents complaints. 3- if you have car do not thing about staying here- they towed cars often and frequently 4-the loud noise from your neighbors. If you are on a budget this is a horrible place to stay for their price is high.

No matter how desperate you are, do not live here through University Commons management. My year living here was a nightmare, from them not allowing me to move in the day that was promised, broken fridge upon arrival that was not fixed within the week, broken dishwasher that took two months to fix, the pool being green and unusable for most of the summer, not plowing the parking lot sufficiently in the winter (my car remained stuck for days because of this), front door lock broke which is a major safety concern and it wasn’t fixed until four days later, carpet beetles in the bedrooms upon moving in, ant infestation, and lack of proper insulation in the windows (it would be cold in bedrooms despite running the heat because of this). There were lots more issues that occurred that I do not have time to list. Management was the most unprofessional I have experienced, Sara does not care about anything other than money. I believe Charity was fired or quit her front desk position, but she was incompetent beyond measure. The head of maintenance also tends to downplay issues at hand and not take care of things in a timely manner. I will never rent from here again and will spread the word that no one should.
