Bright Private Room in Areeiro, lisbon

The best student residence i have been in. The staff is amazing and always willing to help and were very flexible with any issue that may happen. The rooms are incredebly modern and place and it located in a very convenient loc. Loved it and recomend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at Micampus Areeiro. The residence is new, and the room was lovely, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal. Many thanks to the reception staff for their kindness and excellent service!

I recently finished my stay at micampus Areeiro and had a very positive experience. The location was very convenient for getting around Lisbon, and I particularly appreciated having my own bathroom and kitchenette. The studio was comfortable and having the gym, study areas and common spaces in the residence was very convenient. The staff were also helpful whenever I needed assistance, and I liked the international environment of the residence. For students coming to Lisbon for a semester or academic year, I think it is a very convenient option, especially if you value privacy and having everything you need in the same place.

Exhaust doesn't work. And if it did work, it's only on a set schedule since they want to be green/eco, aka cut down on costs and make you deal with it. Gym is extremely bare bones. Ignoring the fact that it has a huge glass window to the lobby so everyone walking in just sees you. There isn't even a dumbell rack, the dumbells are just tossed on the floor. Nor tricep extension, no straight bar attachment for the cable machine, just a singular attachment that the machine came with. 10 treadmills. Gotta pay for the washers. Sure, make sense. But 3 eur apiece for a 6 kg capacity machine. These are laudromat prices, not them trying to break even. Penny pinching like crazy even though we are paying 1k a month for a 11m^2 studio. Editing to add this on: On their quest to pinch pennies, when you leave the room, the motion detector stops the air conditioning and the outlets. So if you have anything charging, well, that stops. Really great! I love paying 770 eur per month to not even have electricity! Also, I love the fire alarms that happens 3-5x a day! They brighten my day up so much, especially during the quiet hours. It's due to the sheer amount of people who are cooking, and due to the lack of working exhaust, trigger the alarms. By the way, the exhaust is communal, no button to turn it on. And last but not least, the trains. You can hear them. "Thick" windows? Nah, doesn't matter. Earplugs, windows closed? Nah doesn't matter. Windows closed, in your bathroom with door closed, with earplugs? Nah doesn't matter. Edit: since they responded but I can’t reply, here is the edit. The train were not a common complaint since only 2 rooms per floor, out of about 20, directly face the train tracks. With the other rooms subsequently being further and further away from them, so it is unlikely for you to get such a room, but if you’re in an economic studio, the odds are quite a bit higher. They claimed the trains wouldn't be an issue since they go slow in this area since there's a station relatively near. But guess what they gotta do to be slow in the first place, break. And breaks are louder than the train simply passing by at regular speed. I'm leaving out a lot of details since I don't wanna keep writing too much, but please, avoid this place. I truly have no idea how they have a rating above 4 stars. Positives: Fridge is a good size Shower is weak but albeit a good size Good amount of outlets
