Private room in Rua Verde Pinho, Coimbra, coimbra

Great place to study in Coimbra University. Very warming welcome to everyone.

Good place. Very clean, quite comfortable. Well equiped. Great gym. I have enjoyed my stay here as a researcher. I think it is a good residence for short research stay. Just next to one door of botanical garden. It was a pleasure going to the university walking through this natural space in the core of the city.

The facilities are fantastic! Enjoyed my stay because of that! Sadly however, the strictness of rules (e.g. annoying sign-ins for every person/facility/thing, maximum of 2 visitors, no/very limited overnight visitors, threats of fines for having a guest after 11pm, 1 entrance that is always being watched, friends not being able to use facilities etc.) definitely took too much away from the student experience :( Constantly getting reminded of the rules and feel limited in what I could do meant I never felt totally relaxed staying at livensa. I think the solution for this would be for the staff to be much more lenient on the rules and only reinforce them when students were abusing their lenience (I.e having overnight guests multiple times per week) A lot of my peers found much better options (excluding the facilities) that were much cheaper. For these reasons, I don’t really recommend staying at Livensa if you’re hoping for a more authentic student experience. However, if none of these things bother you, the facilities nearly make it worth it in themselves :)

I've been living there for five months, and I can’t recommend this place, especially for Erasmus students. The costs are extremely high compared to the poor service provided. The rules are absolutely ridiculous; for example, they charge a €20 fee if a friend stays until midnight to work on an assignment. When my sister visited for five days and I paid €100, she couldn’t even use half of the common areas. The staff, including the receptionists, are completely unhelpful, rude, and arrogant. When they do organize events, it feels like just a way for them to get photos for social media rather than genuinely improving the community. This creates a negative atmosphere with no sense of belonging. You can find much better accommodations in Coimbra that offers much more for a way lower price.

I am just passionate about this residence! Livensa Living is just the best place to live. You will always have a lot of various activities, parties, events, interesting evenings. Just the most polite and pleasant staff working there and always ready to help. You will never be bored as you have a lot residents to talk with or to do whatever you want. Throughout the day you can visit sport gym, swimming pool area, cinema room or just order various games on the reception. In other words, just come to Livensa and enjoy your life!
