The living environment itself is quite nice, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The reception staff are also generally very friendly and helpful. However, the management and overall efficiency of the residence are very disappointing. The common areas are not always well maintained. The bin room is frequently overflowing, and maintenance requests can take a long time to be dealt with. As the building is relatively new, there may also be a noticeable smell from the recent renovation in some rooms. The biggest issue for me has been the management and check-out process. I moved out and completed my check-out in July, but even now the process does not appear to be officially closed on their online system, and it continues to show charges for months after I moved out. Meanwhile the insurance company Garanteme they worked with overcharged me around 2k euro, i have tried contacting the residence by email several times, but there's no reply at all. So no responsibility the second u moved out which could be frustrated for international students. Considering the price, I don't think the overall experience justifies the cost, especially for a residence in the 92 area. The rent is already relatively high and continues to increase. Overall, the accommodation itself is good and the front desk staff are lovely, but the management, maintenance of shared spaces, and administrative efficiency need significant improvement.

I couldn’t recommend Canvas La Défense enough! I spent 1 year and 2 months living here and it is by far the best accommodation in all Paris. The residence itself is beautiful, with everything you could wish for: a gym, rooftop, garden, games room, and many other lovely communal spaces. It is all wonderfully kept by the staff. Always clean, tidy and you feel absolutely at home whenever you step foot in the building. There is also a security guard throughout the night, which provides an added sense of comfort and safety. However, what makes Canvas really special is the staff. Every single member of staff has a genuine, warm approach and is always more than happy to help with anything you need. A special shoutout to Evan and Helene, who were phenomenally efficient and willing to go the extra mile to help, without fail, every single time. I was truly sad to leave, as I had found a work opportunity abroad and had to move away. If it weren’t for that, I would have stayed much longer. If you’re considering moving to Paris, Canvas is the place to go! ❤️

Extremely disappointing experience with Canvas. It's been three months, and I still haven't received my security deposit back. Their customer service is terrible. I keep reaching out and following up, but they always ghost me or take forever to respond. Really frustrating and unprofessional. Update: Your team finally got back to me last Thursday, 8 October, and explicitly promised that my deposit would be refunded by 15 October. It is now Friday, 16 October, and I still haven’t received anything. After three months of delays and repeated follow-ups, this is completely unacceptable. Enough excuses. Return my money.

This residence is a wonderful place to live as a student. The biggest advantage for me is definitely the gym and the yoga room, which make it much easier to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also really appreciate the study and leisure spaces, such as the quiet room where it is easy to focus and prepare for exams, as well as the cinema room and the billiards area. One area for improvement is the gym. It would be great to introduce clearer rules about disinfecting equipment after use, since not all students currently do this. It would also help if residents were more mindful of others while training, for example by not spending too much time on their phones or occupying machines for extended periods during rest between sets. This is something I believe the residence management could help reinforce. Overall, it is still an excellent residence that I would highly recommend.

Canvas La Défense has an amazing community. The apartments are amazing, the employees are super helpful and welcoming and always organise events to meet new people. Merci beaucoup à toute l’équipe
