It has just been 20 days for me in this residence and my experience is extremely terrible. I’ve had a very disappointing experience living here. From the first day, the apartment was not clean, and I had to wait outside for hours before entering. The door has had problems since day one - it often wouldn’t open properly, and now it doesn’t open at all without someone from reception coming to unscrew the lock every single time. The sink was draining slowly from the beginning and eventually got completely blocked after 20 days, simply because no one fixed it despite my repeated complaints. One of the hot plates also doesn’t work and has shown an error since day one. Every time I ask for help, I’m told the manager is on vacation or that the technician is sick - but it has been weeks with no solution. This level of management and maintenance is completely unprofessional. The lack of organization and accountability makes daily living here extremely stressful. I do not recommend this residence until they take maintenance and tenant support seriously.

I would NOT recommend this residence to anyone. Don’t fall for the beautiful photos on their websites. The real situation here is a disaster in my opinion. The condition of the air conditioning system, the fire alarm, the bathrooms, and the overall state of the building is worse than you can imagine. BTW if ever u make the mistake of moving in here, be very careful about what u sign, report the slightest problems because they will make you pay for the problems that existed for a long time.

My friend lives in this residence, and I visit them often, the alarm there is crazy and stupid. The experience that my friend has been going through is horrible and unacceptable. The alarm system is the most stupid system I have seen in my life. It is unbearable and makes no sense. If the alarm goes on 100 times per month then how are people supposed to take it seriously!!!! If some day a fire incident happens nobody will take the alarm seriously because it fires almost daily. It also fires at stupid times, it fired at 2:30 AM yesterday!! In a 30 m^2 apparatment why are there 2 alarms!!! This makes people deaf and can possibly cause heart attacks due to shock when people are awaken up with the alarm's creepy and excessively high sound after midnight. This is so stupid and I don't understand how the administration is doing this... I am usually polite, but this time some anger is required because the situation is genuinely terrible and it has been like this for 2 years now and administration does nothing about it. This residence is to be recommended if you wish to become deaf, or if you want to commit suicide with an alarm shock while sleeping, or to die due to fire and alarm not being taken seriously by anyone. To fleeeeeeee.

Location of the residence is great. Site managers Laura and Clara are amazing! However the main managers of cardinal are not the best… The isolation of the building is extremely bad. Heating during winter and cooling during summer are included in the rent contracts, however, the cardinal campus managers are not capable of understanding this. Rooms are 17-18 degrees during winter, colder than outside with the gaps in the window frames and they are 27-28 degrees during summer, way much hotter than outside because the windows are not openning more than 10 cm in some of the rooms. Such a shame for this great residence and people working so hard here to make it better… UPDATE: They answer here as they communicated the habitants but I had no response from their side….

I had the chance to stay here for my Erasmus semester and couldn’t have been happier. The rooms were in a very good condition and everyone living there was very nice and always there to help. I mostly communicated with Laura, who was very attentive and always so nice , but the others from the staff were also very nice. The residence is situated perfectly. There is a arcade with a big carrefour next to it and also the RER A with which I was able to be in the center of Paris in about 15/20 minutes. I would always choose the residence again 😊
