The location in Lyon city centre is great but the location of the room is terrible. Some converted outbuilding in a yard with car cars parked in from of the bedroom windows. There's only a portable a/c unit which is not very effective but also very noisy and requires to have at least one window open but this is where the cars are parked and subsequently one doesn't want the other windows open anyway as only the wall keeps you apart from the cars parked outside. The security set up is also not great. The access to the yard is gated but anybody can walk in there if somebody leaves. The door from the building is unlocked and the room doors are not secure outside doors but internal doors with a standard lock. The rooms are designed to make the most from the little space but you have a kitchen, toilet, bathroom, two beds, and sofa in one room. most of the furniture is from Ikea which is not fit for purpose for a commercial holiday letting. There's no space to leave the suitcases nor are there any wardrobes etc. The advertising suggested a luxurious apartment and we also paid a premium price. The advertising is misleading and the price is not justified at all. If this would be advertised correctly and priced accordingly I could agree that this is a quirky place to stay.

Top stay in a beautiful historic building. I have nothing but praise for my stay. Very friendly, hospitable, and helpful staff. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped. Very clean, which is a very important criterion for me. Breakfast is provided in the refrigerator, and the freezer contains bake-off rolls and pastries to bake in the oven. They also have a fantastic Delonghi coffee machine as a wonderful surprise! From a practical standpoint, the location is perfect, with nice restaurants, shops, and public transportation within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place.

Location and cleanliness were our top priorities, and they exceeded our expectations. Beyond that, the overall experience was truly impressive—every detail and instruction for guests was thoughtfully provided. The bathroom, bed, and even the scent of the house were delightful. There were also some snacks and breakfast items left for us in the cupboard, which was a lovely touch. Thank you especially for the Valentine’s Day surprise; I’ll be keeping one of the roses as a memento. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderfully renovated historical building in the heart of Lyon. Run by Monsieur Franck, you can feel the love he has for this property in all the small little details you find around the flat. Important note: this is not a room. It’s more like a very spacious, luxurious studio (or small apartment). Book this property if you want to be in the heart of Lyon and feel properly taken care of by someone wonderful like Monsieur Franck.

Fantastic location, perfect for family with kids. Everything is there in abundance and it's situated in the heart of the city. Of course city life comes with sounds, if you can't sleep with sound stay out of the city.. Can highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great base to discover Lyon.
