Overall, the application process was very smooth. I would especially like to thank Lauryne for her prompt and helpful responses to my emails. Thanks to her assistance, I was able to find a suitable room within just one week. As an international student, this has been a reassuring housing option. Since I haven't moved in yet, I can't comment on the actual living experience or the room itself, but so far my experience with the application process has been very positive.

The neighborhood is amazing. The Maillerie square has no cars and lots of green areas, which is perfect for walking with a dog. It’s also very close to a great bakery and an Aldi. I always felt very safe there, even when coming back alone from the metro at night. The apartment is quite new and warm, and the gym has everything needed for a complete workout. I only decided to leave because of a situation with someone who was living in the same apartment as us. In shared housing, your experience depends a lot on the people you live with. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience with one of the roommates, which affected my health and well-being. But overall, regarding the apartment itself and the location, everything was very good.

I just completed my booking process with Urban Campus. Everything was very smooth. The sales representative Lauryne has been very helpful. The places look very pretty and calm. Exactly what I want.

The Urban Campus building has a lot of potential. It is newly built and has nice furniture and a lot of shared rooms (shared huge kitchen and living room, gym, coworking space, movie room). However, if there are people who use these rooms and leave them behind dirty, it is not very convenient for the other people to use them. I think the management should be stricter about their using. The private rooms in the apartments are very pretty and also the private bath rooms have everything necessary. The shared kitchen and living room in each apartment is also very nice and looks pretty. So, the basic infrastructure is very good! However, the management of Urban Campus is quite bad. When I arrived at our flat, everything was extremely dirty and there was a lot of stuff of the former renters (who had moved out a long time ago) left in the shared spaces. When I complained about the situation, the management was nice and said sorry, but there was no further support. Our dishwasher wasn’t working for one month and an additional cleaning service was promised, but never showed up. I know that it can be hard to keep an apartment with 10 people clean and I know that the management and the cleaning stuff is not responsible for everything, but a little more support would have been nice. Furthermore, there have often been hot water shortages or no water at all (sometimes without warning). It was said to be issues in the neighbourhood. The heating started working in the middle of October but didn’t work properly until December. All in all, I think that the facility itself is nice and the private rooms as well, but the management needs a lot of improvement! I wouldn’t recommend Urban Campus. Maybe it’s better in a small apartment with 4 people, but definitely not in the apartment of 10 people with that many issues!
