PARV PIERRE DE COUBERTIN, asnieres-sur-seine

I moved out of Room HQ 1709 (Asnières-sur-Seine) on January 6th. My move-out inspection was identical to my move-in (Zero damages). By French law, they had 1 month to refund my deposit. It is now MARCH. The finance team is non-responsive. Not only are they ghosting my refund requests, but their internal system is a mess: they uploaded my December rent receipt incorrectly, and it contains January’s rent information. I have already paid the prorated household waste tax (TEOM), so there are ZERO excuses left. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Do not reply with your generic "Please contact our email" script. I have already emailed you! REFUND MY DEPOSIT TODAY or the next communication will be from the Commission Départementale de Conciliatio and a legal claim for the 10% monthly late penalty.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and were generally satisfied with everything. The room was clean, the usual normal breakfast, there is a laundry service for an additional fee. But unfortunately, we had to face a very unpleasant situation. We have made an insurance deposit, which cannot be returned to us after 1.5 months. When we were moving out, I asked about it at the reception and I was told that my deposit would be refunded within an hour. As a result, we have not been able to receive an answer about the refund of our deposit for 1.5 months. We write to all possible emails from our two emails. We even wrote on Instagram and left several applications on the website! There is no answer! Once we managed to get an answer, we were told that there was some kind of accounting malfunction and everything would be returned to us in the near future, but this did not happen! It's a shame, because we liked everything and we planned to come back sometime 😢 Be careful!

I recently stayed at the Twenty Campus Asnières Sur Seine( 7 days) and had an excellent experience. The space was impeccably clean and well-maintained, ensuring a truly comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—just a three-minute walk to the metro, McDonald's, a pharmacy, and a grocery store, making it easy to get around and stock up on essentials. The neighborhood feels safe, with a charming community of mostly French residents. The building also features a gym and a shared balcony, adding to the overall convenience. One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning, which could be a factor during warmer months. Additionally, each guest receives only one towel, so be sure to plan accordingly. Overall, it’s a welcoming and secure spot, perfect for anyone looking for a stress-free getaway. I highly recommend it!

Don’t stay at this residence, unless this is your absolutely last option. I lived there from September 2023-March 2024. The accommodation is marketed as international friendly, their website is in english, but its important to know that almost no one speaks English there, so be prepared to deal with things entirely in French. I had issues from day one at Twenty campus Asnieres, which management conveniently ignored or behaved arrogant when I confronted them. My check in experience was unfortunately not smooth either: I had to wait for 3 hours at reception, since they were “busy” to give me the keys, only to finally move into an unclean and smelly apartment that I needed to throughly clean before I am able to live there. During the check in I was given used duvet and pillow set which management tried to convince me was “brand new”, despite the fact it smelled like sweat and they were literal stains on it. Studios look good on pictures, but in reality they are poorly maintained: the windows in mine were not closing properly and cold air was able to get in which made it very hard to heat the room; kitchen appliances were not well looked after; the bathroom had leakages; the bed matress had stains . The laundry facilities were always full and unclean, yet prices kept increasing. Be prepared for unexpected rises in rent without any reason too. Piece of advice: take pictures of everything during your move in, including videos of appliances and how they work. When I moved out they tried to charge 400 EUR for fridge replacement because the freezer door was not closing “the right way”. I spent a month and half arguing with them, trying to get my full deposit back, which I eventually did. If someone stays at Appartment 2206, keep this in mind because they are likely gonna try charging you too. If you find yourself in a situation, where this is your only option, please take all of these things into consideration so that you are not scammed.

Very shitty area, danger even, trash outside, smells awful. Entire stretch outside just road of huge garbage. Inside of apartments not too bad, but the smell from drain 🤢🤢🤢 all the time, nothing helps. Also no laundry in the area, you'd have to pay separately. The only plus, they are pet friendly.
